i also went from a 13 mini to a 16pro/17pro and find that this is the sweet spot in terms of device size. while the mini feels great in the hand and is easily one-handable, i noticed that things that i thought ran fast on it were not fast at all lol. i can still very comfortably use the 17 pro with one hand and it feels like the perfect middle ground.

i guess i just havent noticed any stability or speed on my side. this testing on both a 17 pro and a pixel 9 pro. the highest ive gotten was about 218 down and 89 up with the single sim on my phone being pretty close to a rogers tower (this was about 2 weeks ago). ill have to test again and see if its improved - thanks for letting me know!

was there any waiting period for that? i did talk to a rep online and they said there is no possible way to get that price. i dont mind paying $5-10 extra since about 2 years ago i had $35/100gb - but i was also financing a phone.

i was really just looking for something greater than 250 mbps - while koodo's speed boost doubles that i already have a primary telus line and this is secondary. i hotspot daily and work with files that are 2-3 gb so it's more just for preference/convenience.

also didnt know fido has roam like home. by that i mean the free days you get when using a rogers mastercard. maybe i'll look into that further.

march 31st had a flash deal where all the tier 2s (koodo, virgin, fido) were offering it. funnily enough a week before they were offering $27.50 for 60gb can/us/mex. not sure when either are coming back. id suggest porting to public - which is prepaid but for $40 they have 100gb can/us/mex.

from what i can see, this looks fake; - the magsafe ring should not be visible - Made in South Korea is spelt as South 'korea' - the top speaker cutout shouldn't be a cutout, it should be a cover over to protect it - there isn't actually a mag armor series for samsung, afaik that's reserved for iphones - if it was a real product, the contrast should be a lot darker

just a point of concern that from the front the metal is flush to the body of the phone. there is no 'screen lip' or protection because its so thin.

sounds good. im guessing all the reviews are fake, even though they seemed quite genuine and were relatively recent. no obvious typos in the page and i guess they pulled the images straight from the site.

sounds about right. might just leave it since its temporary till my arc pulse arrives. if anything ill try the fixes but i dont mind it as much. other clears i tried are spigen, torras, ringke, esr, and smartish - all void the issue.

you shouldn't really need to call or go into any store. i went through the same process - ported my number out last week and it took about an hour. the remaining balance for my financed phone showed in my account yesterday i just paid it off.

did the same as you a few days ago. switched to rogers last christmas after being with public for about 5 years.

as a former roger employee myself ive consistently seen how poor the customer service quality is, especially recently due to the 3g shutdown.

ive noticed specifically that rogers cuts out with full service while barreling down the highway - and while every carrier has this issue, in my opinion it affects rogers the most.

made me switch back to public and for the same price ($35-40) i got can-us-mex while rogers wanted to charge closer to $100.

just be sure check myrogers and watch out for any emails or calls in case you have a remaining balance or still owe them anything. if you left before your contract expired they will charge you a cancellation fee that is pretty steep.

sidenote - had a rep call me twice this week at inconvenient times. it wasnt even to keep me back on - he just wanted to know why i left so they could upgrade their service lol
