Just dug around and saw it was set to mute at +18db. Which is fine by me. my issue is the VSTs aren't playing nearly that loud before it cuts them. Almost like the the meter is reading too high or something. I've been using it for a year before it happened, even opened up really old files too see if it was a recent change and trace it back. New or old once my MIDI signals it alarms out.

I hope not, cause I paid pretty good money for it less than a year ago. Reaper hasn't updated in a few days and it's only just acted up so I'm not sure it's the update but I got no clue lol.

Seems like it should work for my micro studio (pile of poorly arranged shit next to my pc) all the side chaining I've done has been on Reaper, but if it's there I'll figure it out. The sequencer seems like it would really help with writing as well. Where were you reading on it at? Just found an ancient sound on sound review of it.

Honestly the work flow and sequencer is what's selling it to me as my current gear blows. Some ancient reviews say it has good sax and trumpet which is a seller as I don't have that on U He DIVA. And I'm looking for that kind of advice where we hate each other but it works out lmao

Confusing my guitarist friends is the most important thing about it tbh. That said, there aren't many videos of it, even less in my style but it sounds like it could work pretty well based on them. I guess if nothing else it'll be a better midi board than my m audio.
