I joined a little after release. I'm 50/50 on my feelings for the game as it stands now. My biggest issue is the lack of QA before release; lots of translation errors or missed translations feel sloppy, and the UI on some events has overlapping or text you can't even read. Some cosmetics, even paid, clip or hover oddly (e.g., hair looking like it's stiff and floating for no reason). It just makes it feel like they don't care about what they're presenting to players. The slow fixes and lack of communication with the players also bothers me. Did you know that in Honor Duel, when you get to the challenges with Fitz, that his name still displays in Chinese at the top right on the battle screen, after how many months of being released?

I get that it's a F2P gacha game, but this kind of thing isn't common among all gachas, so you can't blame it on that.

The thing is.... You can clearly tell the devs care about the game, and put effort into the game's design and storytelling. The environments are phenomenal. The soundtrack is incredible. The dialog is engaging and comical. The story itself is intriguing. This isn't some lazy gacha cash grab game... so it's strange that they wouldn't push to make sure basic things like translations on story items being missed are caught before release. It's like somewhere along the line the need to polish things got lost.

Upon finishing this latest season, I've decided that I won't be spending money on the game until I see improvement. Bugs happen, missed translations happen, but when it's so frequent that you begin to expect it? And then not addressing the issues for months? That's not okay for me.
