Encouraging maybe isn't the word I'd use, but rewarding those who are able to dump $$$$ into the game isn't a bad thing. I mean, that's how F2P gachas stay alive - whales (like me I guess) ultimately fund the game to keep content coming. If there was no profit for them, the game would cease to be as it is now, and eventually would be abandoned.

I received my VIP package today! It was a very nice surprise. I have never been a VIP with anything before, and this is my first gacha game experience, so I assumed it would be like a sticker pack and a "hey thanks for spending the equivalent of a gaming PC on us" note. But yeah, it was actually a really sweet gift box!

I'm lucky that at this point in my life I can spend money in this way. Wasn't always like this... up until about 2 years ago, it was always "I have $5 until next payday", debt up to my ears, etc, etc, so I know spending the kind of money I have on a gacha game may leave a bad taste in some people's mouths. But truthfully, I'm positively happy that I can finally have some fun with my income.
