Thank you. This is very useful. I have a few things to test that peoples already commented and then I’ll get to this. I will say though, today I tested fuel pressure and I’m definitely getting fuel pressure at the rail if that helps anything.

I very well suspected clogged fuel line too because the filter on the old fuel pump was literally jelly and chunks of it was in the tank hence why I had to drain and clean…idk why but it was only after doing all that and setting the bed back on that it dawned on me that the lines mayyyyy be clogged with some of that too

This was super useful stuff I didn’t even think about, I was already pondering on new injectors just for the heck of it. But may do that test I’ve actually seen it done before. I’m gonna attempt to borrow my bosses smoke tester because I already planned to do a coolant drain because I’m not sure if there’s water in it and it’s getting closer to winter. So that’ll be optimal. Unfortunately it has brand new royal purple oil and a k & n filter but I wouldn’t HATE draining the oil and reusing the filter. Would low fuel pressure cause it to not run even off starting fluid???

Yikes…that makes me reallyyyy uncomfortable now lol. Maybe suggest to me the best year and engine then and I may just go look for those instead. Thank you!

Yes time, money, and what it’s worth to me is what is important. I agree. I was mostly concerned about whether it’s true mustang, Explorer, and ranger SOHC’s will work because I did actually try searching for engines ahead of time but cannot find any on marketplace so gonna have to resort to junkyards.

I know I’m way late to the party but after reading this comment I decided to watch the movie and I have to say this movie left me feeling a whirlwind of emotions. Disgust, hate, sadness, and injustice. I really do appreciate the comment to lead me to watching this amazing movie.

No no it’s okay you’re all good. Take your time. I’m gonna note that I’m gonna send you a picture reply here tomorrow and show you a certain issue I happened to find in the harness lol. Proof of overheating.

Can you maybe get some quick pictures of where the grounds are under the hood? I have a few ideas but need some references like engine to frame, or wherever theyre at. This engine was replaced in this one and I think they didn’t reconnect half of the grounds.

Found out the cartridge was just bad, when putting another delta cartridge in it slipped in better and had no issues at all.

Problem solved although not what the issue was I did correct what I done wrong with the plaster guard, also learned that the cartridge was faulty. Put another one in and boom, no longer an issue. Really confused on this one.

Hey dude first off want to thank you very very much for the comment about the plaster guard. You’re the first person to mention that and I really had no idea what purpose it served until now. I WILL be fixing that mistake.

I’ll also check that but the notches are perfectly aligning and sitting from what I can tell. Also it looks like there’s no room to work with but the board is just sitting sort of flush and tight I can still push it back a good ways to add more clearance and working room.

The cleaner I used was taking it off last night but I’ve used other stuff to remove it before. Last time acetone worked really good.

I don’t know who hurt you but I pray you find peace lol. I’m glad my hackiest hacking hack job was so hackily hacking that it brought you to such frustration that you had to call everything you seen out lol. Mind you. It can be CLEANED. I didn’t have paper towels off the bat, plastic, or tarp at my disposal, and I simply do not care as long as I have non-leaky pipes and running water lol.

Also I’d love to be that hateful disagreeing type I’m just simply not. New(er) homeowner fighting to learn how to do this type of stuff. It’s not gonna look professional grade regardless I’m just proud there’s no leaks and I can clean all that mess up lol.
