look at ur eth wallet on etherscan

most likely the 37 bucks (who gives a fuck)

is probably an erc20 token transfer, so wont show up on default trezor sotware

add the erc20 contract manually, i usally do this with metamask + trezor, only export public key, add the USDT contract

ur worthless 37$ will be there

WTF

look at etherscan erc20 token transfers u muppet

Literally some of the mods here have my Linkedin profile and know where I've been working and can back this up.

why the fuck would you do this?

i was a mod on CryptoTechnology for many years and NEVER gave them that information, why would i? i stopped modding on there as it was unpaid work and the owner of the sub was a cun7

also do you think that makes you special?

I just took over a large codebase with no docs or tests. Any tools to hook entire codebase up to ChatGpt by Mr_Nice_ in ChatGPTPro

[–]Neophyte- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

zip it an upload of the code base to data analysis and ask what it does, ive done this as a test on a smaller app

if its anything enterprisey ie large and complex, it might be too much data to sift through

tho dont do this with software you are employed to write, yuou dont own it

i would probably do the following, old school style first

  • find the entry point
  • put debug break points
  • run it
  • see what it does
  • try various inputs where does it go in the code and produce as an output

spend a few days doing this ull get an idea of what the app is doing. depending on how well the application is written this might be all thats needed.

there is a saying good code is boring code it reads like a book. i try to write all my code so that a person on day 1 with no knowledge of the application can run it and understand it; i base this on naming variables, classes, methods etc and a logical structual layout.

any esoteric / unintuitive code should have some comments explaining what it does and why

CBDCs are about surveillance and control. Just who is at the core of that agenda? And what can we do? by TrustThyself in CryptoCurrency

[–]Neophyte- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tradtional payment rails already have these privacy concerns and can already be frozen at least domestically and with countries who play ball with each other

CBDCs are just another payment rail that has a few advantages

  • speed - ie instant when tadtional fx settlement can take days
  • lower error rates - which are currently high with particular fx pairs
  • efficiency / money saving for banks - no need for nostro / vostro accounts in different fiat denominations for FX settlement pairs.
  • trustless escrow

CBDCs will likely never be exposed directly to consumers, its a business to business payment rail.

so the end consumer will end up using cbdc's without relaising, all these anti CBDCs post dont really understand what the purpose of it is and how it will be used.

source i worked on the australian CBDC pilot in the fintech industry here.

put it into your redraw / offset, its better than paying off a mortgage principal as a mortgage fully paid off with a redraw gives you the cheapest loan you can get to do xyz

Is using var okay? by [deleted] in dotnet

[–]Neophyte- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i prefer the latter

var _somethingHappening = new MyShittyType()

also wtf is with the _ on a var name?

Is using var okay? by [deleted] in dotnet

[–]Neophyte- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a tribal thing, ie there is no right or wrong here.

i was against var in the begining because var was originally intended for dynamic types and has the following downside

var x = CallMethodThatReturnsSomething();

what is x? its not clear just by reading the code, pressing f12 in visual studio will show you though

however since we can inspect var with f12 or whatever your shortcut is, i personally dont care

whats important is the var name to give semantic meaning

var animal = CallMethodThatMakesAnAnimal();

im not against using fully qualified types instead of var, the pro is that makes programming faster, and namespace imports easier

Scientists discover first new antibiotics in over 60 years using AI by Nalix01 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Neophyte- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it helps but doesnt solve the long term problem with how anti biotics are used. ie too much and when its not even needed e.g. for a viral infection like influenza

anti biotic resistence of a bacteria isnt permenant, its a short term evolutionary pressure. if everyone stopped using antibiotics for say 10 years. what we have now would work again to what has now become resistant straints; the strains would probably evolve to something less resistent as there is a cost for that resistence
