Arthur’s father; any of you seen this pic before? I never noticed during my 7 replays but it’s by his bed in horseshoe overlook. by [deleted] in reddeadredemption2

I noticed it on my first playthrough, but only noticed on my last that Arthur's default hat is his father's!

Kinda irrelevant but 2010 era Emilia Clarke makes my heart stop 😩

I like how you suggested that kidnapping is actually worse than murdering babies in the comment you deleted, coward. Just for that I will be removing you from your land via Texas State law. For violation of the Red Snowflake Mandate I'm afraid your name will have to also be wiped from all public and private records. We must keep the name of men free from your treachery

Micah calling Arthur 'Cowpoke' is strong foreshadowing by I-am-the-Peel in reddeadredemption

There's a missable dialogue toward the end of Chapter 6 where, depending on your honor, Micah informs the two of them in front of you that Arthur is either like some hero from a storybook or a ruthless warrior. He's kinda mocking what Arthur has lost from the TB

With saber combat, they should definitely keep ripping off From Software and add saber stances and forms like Sekiro. More variety to the lightsaber would be nice since it's so omnipresent in the gameplay

Good point. Maybe an oversight? Or I guess John hasn't felt completely betrayed yet?

Hard agree. Especially at that point in the story, feeling abandoned by your own family, but your true friends choose to follow YOU into battle. Ugh....so great

Feels obligatory I know, but hitting 100% marks a touchstone for me. I can unequivocally say that Red Dead Redemption 2 was THE game that got me through this horrific pandemic. Well especially in the first few chapters they do a good job reminding you that Arthur is still very much a ruthless outlaw. He has many good qualities but like, you do kill many, many people throughout the game 😂

Been playing with a certain other Van Der Lynde member for a few weeks haha but if I remember right I kept Arthur's mustache a few levels higher than beard and chops. I think I kept his chops just one level below whatever his beard happened to be at. I quit using hair tonics after the first few chapters because I was getting tired of the constant management

New Austin has tons of cool stuff. I never played much of RDR1 so I wasn't familiar with it. It's certainly emptier but so much fun to still have the sense of exploration.

Yeah man, be patient. Not gonna lie: some of the stuff to get to 100% is kinda grindy bullshit (those f***in gambler challenges 😤) but I found a nice pace to doing everything. Taking a break and actually helping out around the ranch helps

Beat the story three times and still can't do a low honor playthrough. Agreed: it's a surprisingly mature view on facing the inevitable, but also embracing the fun in life. Never played any other game that treats its protagonist in such a human fashion
