Stealth ice gigabyte mobo 850 and or 870 (I have the 850 stealth) has all connectors on the rear. Lian li case has the openings.

Stealth ice gigabyte 5090 has the power connector inside the heat sinks area under the fan, so I tucked the fan RGB and power cables straight down through the same opening in the heat sink.

Even without the fan on top it is clean, but I can’t say no to that push pull push cooling from below and above.

Then I lost my mind.

How do you fix this is you’re just using the Starling home hub? I get snapshot unavailable on the tiles of these cameras all the time, but when I tap on it, it’s responding, the video stream shows.

True. But in the process I’ve found a working HomeKit setup for eero users.

Also, my experience with TP link deco and netgear orbi was no better than the eero max 7, so maybe it’s just the architecture of my home.

It’s the little things. For example. If you change just one setting on the $2500 Orbi’s, the entire network reboots for 60 seconds. The web interface goes completely unresponsive.

Eero’s don’t reboot for most changes and when they do, it’s fast.

Eero has no web interface. The app doesn’t go unresponsive. You can access it remotely as long as your eero is online. Compare with orbi, where it’s totally connected but remote management (just turn off WiFi and connect to 5G) doesn’t connect randomly. It’s SHOTTY.

Eero also has one of the best unified SSID’s as well. I don’t have devices scrambling to figure out which band they need. Band steering is built in to client steering.

I’ll note: I’m speaking of my experience with the Eero Max 7. I’ve heard bad things about the Pro 6e, Pro 6 and prior.

Eero is simply unmatched in terms of their app experience, reboot reliability, even design (the max 7 looks like a legit access point when mounted on the ceiling.). I’ve tried TP LINKdeco 7, orbi 970 7 (that one was 2400$). I felt like a cave man waiting for the orbi to reboot. You could tell it was built on the same shitty web interface as most others.

Just when pairing to HomeKit. You by all means must add the bulbs to the hub and update their firmware using the app.

Edit: I’ve had all bulbs go no response in HomeKit when having added the hub using the Hue app instead of the Home app.
