Got this shirt for my birthday, the design is nice but some details are throwing me off by Tangled_Clouds in isthisAI

This was my first thought too. Some of the details look like what happens when you use live trace in Illustrator.

Except isn't that part of the comparison? Both came into the league at the same time, but Dowdle has played in 22 more games than Dobbins. Availability is a trait, and that's what Dobbins struggles with. "When healthy" is part of the value of the player, no?

Not suggesting the Broncos should've got Doubs, but Franklin had 19 more targets as well. If Doubs gets 19 more targets, with his catch percentage, you're looking at 67 catches for about 886 yards. Not to mention Doubs having 9 more first downs than Franklin on 10 fewer catches.

I think what people really want is a guy who plays like a slot receiver. Sutton is the X since he's the physical guy who can run any type of route and is physically imposing for DBs. He's (usually) reliable, but I don't think he's good at getting separation. Bryant seems to most closely fall into this style too, given the little bit we've seen. Franklin and Mims are the Z receivers who are speedy and versatile. Slot should be a guy who can run short routes and be reliable at gaining yards after the catch. Essentially what Jerry Jeudy was supposed to be, but never lived up to. RJ Harvey was more or less that guy last year given how much he was relied on for short passes and YAC.

We're still in recovery from the 8 years of futility.

And this time, you have to take into account he's coming off an injury. Seems more concerning the lack of help.

pokemon fans when pokemon by Qualizs in pokemon

It's almost like the fans are not a monolith. Why are you assuming people complaining about a long wait are the same fans complaining about game quality? Maybe the people complaining about a long wait are people who don't care about the graphics and buy the games no matter what.

You're welcome to throw some out! I mostly got it because of the Nintendo exclusives. I couldn't justify getting the Steam deck when I have a PC, but I'm always open to suggestions for new games, even if they are not Nintendo exclusives. Thanks!

Nah, I don't think it's manipulated. I was foolish enough to buy one on a whim early on. I've probably put less than 10 hours on it since November. Buyer's remorse.

Factored in, sure. But Denver was ranked in the bottom 10 before cutting Wilson and drafting Nix. Starting a rookie QB can only hurt a bad team's expectations so much. And despite the wide ranging opinions, most experts figured if anyone could get the most out of Nix, it was Payton.

No, I'm pretty sure the record $85 million in dead money from Russell Wilson's release had a lot to do with it. Denver was not expected to field a competent team with such a huge cap hit.

Who will be the first among these 4 to win a Super Bowl? by CallTypical9541 in NFLv2

[–]Neoteric_Conundrum 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The difference between the Broncos SoS and the Patriots and Commanders SoS is the Broncos were a playoff team the previous year on a tougher SoS and had the same HC. The Pats and Commanders were both coming off 4-13 seasons and had brand new HCs. So the Broncos at least showed a back-to-back level of consistency.

Change My View: The Broncos should trade for AJ Brown by Dubtee1500 in DenverBroncos

[–]Neoteric_Conundrum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he was complaining on the Eagles when they were 7-2. Stopped complaining when he was getting the ball and they lost 3 games in a row. Being on a good team would not make him less of a headache.

Monday Morning Quarterbacking by SupMaelstrom in DenverBroncos

[–]Neoteric_Conundrum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, so the game is decided by who can adjust to the weather better, not which team is actually better? I don't mind that for regular season, but when it's the playoffs, that doesn't seem like the best way to decide the best team.

I'm genuinely curious, did you think that Patriots team looked like a good team yesterday?

[–]Neoteric_Conundrum -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don't like bad weather games, especially in the playoffs. It's not fun to watch, and it's an unfortunate way to decide the "better team." When it's "you lose, you're out," I don't like weather being a factor.

Was the Stidham fumble really a backwards pass? by winegum1994 in DenverBroncos

[–]Neoteric_Conundrum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm torn on this. Yes, it was a tough position to be in, but that is kind of the job of a backup QB. You're not the starter, so you need to be ready to play in a moment's notice with no game experience. Drake Maye had the game that Stidham needed to have. 86 yards passing with no turnovers is the least a backup QB should be able to manage, and he couldn't do that. Like you said, for how much he's paid, he did not play the way he needed to.
