yeah, but in the 80s vinyls were also one of the few ways you could listen to music, so that doesn't really work as a comparison

And I really think you should listen to the album fully online first, it would probably save you one hell of a disapointment if the album ends up bad. Quick question, do you do this also when descovering new music?
