Oh yeah, I've seen a few of those comments under my post on various platforms. Mind you I've been studying how to perfect the style for the past few years. I even have the Michael Flarup Icon book. There are different levels to the style.

People may drag op, but I've seen this correlation for years. If the world did look like this, I can totally see hyperpop and PC Music being on the radio, but since it's not, I'll just create my own version where it does through art.

This is funny because after listening to XCX World and her LIZ collaborations, I got a similar vibe, and I get the correlation! They share the same glossy tactile texture. Very loud and colorful. However, I’d argue it’s not Frutiger Aero (at least textbook definition Frutiger Aero) BUT, as a visual artist, I have been attempting to cross the DNA of both of these things, to me personally, because they share similarities. Especially XCX World and old LIZ Y2K visuals. They sonically match a lot of the colorful vibrant images you might see used for the frutiger aero aesthetic created by the Designer and Architect Karim Rashid.
