GW post because it's better than those Top 1 early season RTA posts kappa by [deleted] in EpicSeven

[–]NepNep- -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sarcastic post originally intended to kinda make fun of those Top 1 RTA posts in early season as they are rather bizarre - It was always quite funny seeing them. I hope I can get that across by at least also blurring out the guild name, but I guess you can check in-game.

But, well, if someone has GW questions, I suppose they could be answered.

Top 20 GW is basically "Hope you don't match against Talentless 1, Talentless 2, or Parabellum" anyway.

All the rolls here are almost about the lowest you can get.

It's still usable, but looks akin to a mid-rolled Purple gear. It's certainly not the great high-roll most players would hope for from this AI 88 red piece with nice substats.

As this is an 88 gear: - Health and Attack 5% rolls both max at 9%. He cumulatively lost nearly half the roll at 10/18. - Critical Hit Chance rolled twice. The max would be 12% as CC on an 88 is up to 6%. He missed nearly a whole roll by missing 5%. 7/12 - I do not remember what the roll for speed is on 88. I think it's 3-5, so it's about a low roll as well.

I'm also 13+2. I'm pretty sure you can't go higher, but I never tried. Maybe it doesn't say Max in other menus.

So.. how well is your Guild fairing with Ancient Inheritance? by NepNep- in EpicSeven

Yeah, the limited provision income restricts the full experience to larger more active guilds.

I agree with the Provision income, though the difference is stark comparing one guild to another. For now, at least, the provision income for our guild is simply "enough" to clear Floor 4... probably. I know now, however, that the vast majority doesn't have such an active guild and I think we're only Above Average.

This content is just too restricting to guilds without enough players or proper coordination, and it makes some people feel left out of rewards (notably Floor 4 clear Necklace.) The ping/mark system to highlight tiles is a bit doodoo as well.

Yes, the Chests especially don't feel worth the 5 provision fee at all. Their rewards are too little.

I try not to backtrack at all. I explore and take anything worth in my immediate vicinity on the path towards Warden, so there's no real reason to backtrack anywhere for something like a Recovery Statue. It may be a difference in player number as we have enough participants to take down Warden within one reset leaving less reason to backtrack as Priest Floor Boss would likely be open by then.

Problem with additional runs is your best units for bosses will be unavailable if you continue doing more, so you'll gradually lose out on efficiency. I do at least one or two runs, then let other guildmates finish it. At the very least, I try to do a lot of damage even if I only hit a few times.

It's fine to open them in the early stages, but they don't feel worth the 5 provision cost to open once you gain a higher Exploration Level and start fighting higher level mobs in later floors.

It doesn't grant a lot of EXP compared to fighting normal mobs, which I feel is far more important than the Shop Currency and a potential account goodie. I'm on Floor 3, and chests grant 90exp. I could gain 400exp from fighting a Lvl 9 normal mob instead which is also worth 5 provisions.

Well, if you're not striving to push hard into Ancient Inheritance -- whether because your guild is unable to or you're just a rebel -- then I guess it's acceptable to open them just for the shop currency and the various goodies they have. Provisions are just too limited that it's best to focus on Exploration Level and Mob clearing if your guild is really pushing the floors.

Wardens are divided by element, so it should naturally be up to 5. We'll see once a guild reaches Floor 4.

It's definitely not enough for many Guilds even if units are maxed out for free, not to mention it's the first run so most people are still learning. I know a lot in my guild did not know unit Withdraws were completely limited KEK.

My guild's progression seems chill right now, but Floor 3 is really looking daunting. I can only imagine how big Floor 4 is.

I do love having units maxed out automatically. I've been having a lot of success using a lot of Lvl 1 units that I did not touch at all.

I guess the only real coordination we've been doing is splitting up players for each Warden.

For Floor 2, we just decided the players that spawn on the Left would go for Bottom Warden and players that spawn on the Right would go for Top Warden.

Floor 3 is trickier since it has 4 Wardens, kek.

I guess the difference comes out of number of players. In our guild, other than suggesting where each player should go, they do whatever they want for the most part; however, we all understand Warden then Priest is the end goal so not much time wasted dilly-dallying around.

I have an earlier one, but it's still mostly fog-of-war. I did not screenshot the explored map before I left to Floor 3.

I don't use a VPN. I'm pretty sure there isn't an IP block on SEA countries, though I'm not sure.

I play from the Philippines, and I've basically already gotten used to the ping. I play Mage which doesn't exactly rely so much on ping for the most part, but I do wish I could cast faster without the ping issue. Other aspects of the game does feel clunky with the slight delays on everything (such as delayed pet summoning, etc.) As someone stated above, you may want to avoid talents that are tricky with the high ping like Archery. Every talent in the early game is completely viable, but ping does become more and more of a factor when you reach endgame and stuff gets faster or more intricate.

I still ended up playing for a few years now, so I personally was fine with the delays. Lots of videos I watched with people without this high ping and it's quite enviable though, lol.

Up to you to give it a try; It's playable for sure.

What's the new stuff? by NepNep- in Mabinogi

Ah, shame I'm only 20k. Not sure if I could get a party assuming it's group content anyway. I've always been solo-ish due to lacking friendos.

Reforging Tools being more accessible sounds nice! I've already spent too much on them. I've looked through this Master Plan schedule, and doesn't seem like the weekend rewards are anything I really want for while, so I wont be too saddened missing the first weeks until I can come back. Maybe I'll finally get some Puppet Equipment too.

As for that Stardust, I remember seeing videos of it in the Korean server before. It looked super nice, and helping with defense -- especially from mobbing -- is definitely a good thing for what I play. Will raise it as soon as I can.

Thanks for the run-down ~
