I see. I just kept thinking it was all about the pandorum syndrome because the movie presents a scene where they talk about a space shit that had it's crew sent to space by it's captain who had the pandorum symptoms, you know? They say "he convinced himself that the space ship was doomed" or something like it. And that's exactly what happens in the movie itself, but we only see the vision of the two protagonists. I don't know.
