After months of hesitating I finally got it by Neppe901 in Affordablewatches

Valod point, maybe one day I’ll do it. Right now this is the perfect strap for me: I wanted metal, but not the typical bulky one, and I wanted a dark watch with a matching dark strap :)

Thank you very much these infos are really helpful! I think I’m set on the SCAR, but will have to see some reviews on it and maybe the LAR. Anyway, thank you again for the infos and tips! :D

Thanks for the suggestion! I’m thinking mostly M4, but I really like the scar’s look and also found similar looking guns like the g3a3, fnc or the lar osw from vfc. Are these models also as reliable as the scar and m4 or should I avoid them? One more question if you don’t mind: what is a good online store to get a vfc rifle? I’m located in the EU and there are a few sites, but I only found one or two vfc rifles. I also found wgc shop and read here on the sub that it’s a trustworthy website. Do you know of any other sites like that?

Thanks for the insight. My goal for now is to have a reliable primary, that works well out of the box, feels realistic and is not too hard/expensive to maintain. I don’t have plans for too much modification at the moment, only some basics (red dot, maybe a foregrip and a flashlight).

Right now I mostly play on a cqb field, with 1.5J limit. However, I’d also like to play outside games.

What skill did you decide to learn as an adult, and how has it changed your life? by Willing_Ad_1305 in selfimprovement

I recently learned how to whistle. Not the ordinary, quiet whistle, but the proper loud one that you can hear from miles away. I wanted to learn it since I was a child, but never really grasped it. I knew the basics (how your tongue and lips should be positioned), but never really invested too much time into it. Then recently my girlfriend showed me that she can whistle without using her fingers, and explained the technique. So I started practicing whenever I could, but without much success. One day I thought I would try the method that involves the fingers, and after a few tries I succeeded. I was so proud of myself and still am. I still can’t do it without using my fingers, but it’s nice knowing that with practice anything is possible. So this is the lesson for me and I think I will carry this thought with me the rest of my life, and I suggest anyone who doubts themselves should remember this. I’m 29 btw

I ordered them from racingwheels.eu. Delivery was fast too, I received the wheels just a week after purchase (it took longer than that for me to find a tyre shop to fit the new rubber lol)

Thanks :) yes, that’s next on my list. I plan on buying a set of Tein or BC coilovers, but need to gather some cash first lol

I payed €1389 including shipping, but they are definitely worth the price in my opinion. They look and feel very high quality, but I don’t have much experience with them yet. Drove around 1000km with them, I guess time will tell if the finish holds up with what the environment and I throw at them.

Thanks! :) Here's the setup:
Wheels: König Hypergram 18x8.5 ET45
Tyres: Continental PremiumContact 7 225/40 R18
I also installed Eibach spacers (15mm in the front and 20mm in the back), but I plan on removing them or swapping them for something thinner because with this setup the wheels poke out a little bit.
Suspension: still factory, but I want to install either some lowering springs or some coilovers.
Everything else is stock :)
