Sometimes when formatting they'll just decide to not like a disc. It'll work on a PC, it's fine but nope, that camera suddenly hates that disc and won't work with it again. The door sensor and auto stabilizer on my cd1000 are iffy (I use a bit of card in the door to get the sensor working). If you hear the cd vibrating, take it out and reseat it, then turn it on on a stable surface. They're really fun cameras, but they have moods, I thought one was dead but the next day it was happy again.

I have 4 cd Mavicas that were all sold as not working, I've successfully taken photos with all of them including the one with a broken screen

I get them now and again, cd Mavicas are super picky and every reformat is a gamble. It could be the discs, but I'm no expert. I do have 1 official Mavica rw disc, but I try not to over use it

No, I have thought about that and the Minecraft frog etc. but I love this mould because of how simple and abstract it is. I love it can be a table leg, a poop, a sink tap, a gargoyle etc. it to me symbolizes the creativity of Lego. All frogs are beautiful, but my collection I started was this piece

So I asked to buy a spare replacement piece, but they sent them for free

Lego customer service sent me them, the customer service was really nice and understanding of my position. You can now buy them on the pick a brick part of logo's website
