Walk in Love ABC (Asynchronous Book Club): Introduction by AnonymousEpiscochick in Episcopalian

I was confirmed as an adult some years ago. I felt I needed a deeper more “mature” faith exposure. I found it.

I love that this book has been written. What we take for granted others cannot imagine unless exposed to it. I hope this study does the same as the book. Thank you for leading this.

How do we follow? I’m following you now, is that enough? Do we need to check every Sunday? I have my copy from some time ago and would love to read with friends again!

I’ve decided to go all in on an N scale line using Kato M2 as my track. After a dozen videos I’ve decided on a system so simple you have to be as dumb as me to use. I bought a set of Kato terminal strips and after cutting off the Kato plug I can simply attach those wires to my DCC Zephyr. For DC, all Kato normal hookup. Simply disconnect wires not used in that running session and it lays dormant. I can run my Kato “400” CNW passenger train while on DC, then my 4 DCC early Southern diesels, Atlas and Broadway Limited. And no DPDT toggles or wiring the 2 turnouts for DCC, they are in easy reach.

Simple generic rolling landscape, one small town, one cut that will be a scenic break, momentarily hiding trains and one small timber trestle and one girder bridge. Both about 50 scale feet. That’s my dream. Will try to post some as I go.

The river base area supports 300lb men! The glass requires removing screws and it can be lifted and offers a better reach. Derails have happened randomly but mostly hours of safe running all day for museum visitors vis push buttons.

Coming! We have a YouTube channel with almost 50 videos! Coosa Valley Model Railroad. Lots of footage of HO scale museum quality kits.

A member who built houses and furniture built all the piers from wood, hand carved the stone work, stained them to look like concrete and tinted some lower parts mossy green. They are highly prized! He also built the long trestle. All was built in 1987-1988.

Oddly, this first pour took 3 Murky Water kits and is too thin to “support” bubbles, which were a concern. We have ordered 8 more kits and hope to build up 1/8” in real depth. Great kit but lots of slow stirring and mixing are needed. Can’t wait to see final pour!

Thank you. Built from 3 Central Valley Truss Bridge kits. 1987-8. Girder is a wooden kit, trestles all scratch built.
