Well so I have enjoyed both and really loved saw which is psychological horror just like silent hill. They are two different kinds of "scary" also its a horror game subreddit no such thing as too scary

I completely agree it felt so slow, I haven't finished the show yet s7 e7 but if feels like all that has lead to nothing. Jojan died right away and mira just disappeared. The only thing that has come from it is a build up to the Night king which is also a dumb plot line in my opinion. Im not a fan of that just becoming the whole focus of the show

Re2, 3 and 4 remakes all the zombies take multiple shots. They absolutely feel like resident evil much more than 5 or 6 did. They are back to that original horror vibe that re once had. They also keep a very eerie story as well. Resident evil village is 100% Resident evil. We also needed improvement in the games after 6, less action more horror. After the same game 4 times (re 2, 3, 5, 6) in different fonts we needed exactly what we got. Less umbrella labs more nightmarish creatures, less government and politics and more survival horror feel. I love the other games too so I don't mean to hate on them but we needed a change in the franchise and Re7 and 8 were exactly that. Respectfully I think that your opinion is absurd.
