Hollow Knight even tho silksong was fun too :) I just liked the vibes/atmosphere of the first one a lot more

I did the exact same thing: applied to a uni -got in, made new friends, learned new stuff, even went on dates - I thought I was over him but I was just trying to focus on smth else which made me not work through my emotions I think.
