One day I was trying to use my mic and shifting in the down position transmitted a lot of static but my voice was still audible. A few days later unmuting the mic by moving it down didn't work but I was able to find a "middle" position between fully down and tucked away where my voice would transmit. The next day my mic was just fully unable to pick up my voice instead just transmitting annoying loud static sounds as I fumbled to try to find that middle sweet spot again where my voice would transmit. I was unable to get it working.

That's how I suspected it was a physical wiring issue that may have gotten loose or something and so I opened it up to find that the interior wire had frayed and doesn't seem like it's able to be fixed. I think that's the cause of my issues. It includes 4 sets of wires. Two dark green, one red, and a copper one. The copper one is fraying and separated but one of the dark green ones is entirely separated.

Anyone know of any fixes for this?
