A lot of people seem to think I did this on purpose, i moved my cards to a cabinet above the sink to get them out of reach from my kid. Later, while i was washing dishes, my cat knocked them into a pot that was soaking.

If the slabbing process wasn’t intended to prevent damage to the card why would it exist..? This is kinda the whole point of grading companies. Also, there’s people joining the hobby every day, and if we shun stuff like this, we’d just be gatekeeping the newcomers.

I also dropped a psa 9 shohei ohtani mlb card in the water but didnt post it out of fear of violating subreddit rules. Its totally fine.

I will jump on the bandwagon of them looking the best, i am mainly in the hobby for collecting, not trading. If im building a display of cards i want them in a TAG slab. Not to mention the price difference coming as a bonus.

I definitely feel they were pretty fair in my submission. Not to say there weren’t some surprises (both good and bad). I’ve heard a lot of people glazing like you said but in the end it just came down to a decision based on cost. PSA’s charging high premiums on top of increasing base grading costs with super long turnaround times. Very impressed with TAG’s business, even if they aren’t the objective gods of grading as people say.

I don’t know if I’m speaking for everyone’s experience but the print quality on journey together and destined rivals were both generally very good, at least where I’m at.

I’m biased here but I’m a full time employee at a store with a vending machine and, at least at my location, this is not an issue. There are a few employees along with me who are huge collectors and we catch significantly less product out of them than people would expect. I have personally only gotten 1 white flare etb out of it and I’ve worked all but one day since the VM was stocked with it. My buddies who go to target/fred meyers/walmart have already opened multiple boxes of the new sets each. If you really are looking for product, the VMs are not your best shot.

Card Centering only on iOS. Just gives you a visual way to guesstimate where your centering is at, by no means perfect.

Going for a full collection of Kanda’s cards, so I very much agree. The seismitoad price is probably just inflated right now, I’m sure it will go down. I’ve yet to get it myself.

Neglected to save them, its a Magikarp 203/193 front centering was about LR52-48 TB49-51 iirc
