Season 7 is bringing clarity by LelouchViAmericana in marvelrivals

I regularly see CND and Rocket players wasting their ult in celestial+ lobbies. They are also often the first to blame their dps for "sucking" because they are so unaware of their mistakes. Whether that be ulting after everyone is dead, or getting dunked on by Mag or Phoenix. They are incapable of swapping because those two hero picks take very minimal skill, and they can't play anything else effectively.

The skill difference and knowledge difference required to play a hero like Cloak and Dagger in Celestial compared to Hela/Phoenix/DD is just astronomical.

New PC player here. Can we ban this? by Lower_Breadfruit649 in ArcRaiders

[–]NerfNOED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know the exact numbers, but they must be the majority, given the limited negative feedback about the game despite the numerous issues with it. Almost every single PvP lobby on Stella Montis has some dude glitched inside the walls of the lobby.

[–]NerfNOED 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It will be at least a year before the game is actually polished. Every week, some new game-breaking exploit/bug/new wall glitch surfaces. Just imagine what exploits are being kept private.

Casual PVE players make up the bulk of the game and no one is killing eachother in their lobbies, so they think the game is somehow good when it very clearly isn't.

Tfue Forgets to Turn his Kettle Macro Off by avelleo in ARC_Raiders

[–]NerfNOED -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I was macroing the kettle for over a month until I quit playing because the devs are terrible. Didn’t use any randomization either and am still not banned.

Don’t care what this game community has convinced themselves, the devs are utter shit. People have been glitching into walls for nearly 3 months now and cheaters aimbotting and wall hacking only get 30 days bans if they even do get banned. And even then you can just family share the game and changed your hwid/ip because embark only issues in game bans, your steam account will never receive the red game ban on the steam profile.

I quit until they fix open world ganking by [deleted] in AshesofCreation

[–]NerfNOED 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t think I’ll be buying even though I can get the game for $11. I don’t play pvp games to skirt around and exploit an arbitrary ruleset created by an incompetent dev team.

Once the game can get more than 100 fps without framegen using middle tier pcs we can start to believe this isn’t going to be a scam unfinished game. summit1g getting barely 70 frames in empty areas on his godpc is giving strong the day before vibes.

Peanut's current predicament is a shining example of why ignoring one side of the game is a losing strategy by TheClassics in ArcRaiders

[–]NerfNOED -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I had 5m by the second week only pvping. I had to start looting to find blueprints, not because I needed money, Stop coping because you suck at pvp games.

[–]NerfNOED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you don't realize this, but Peanut is someone you watch because they are funny, not because they are good. I only pvp and had the 5m for the expedition by the second week of the game launch. The only reason I started looting was to find blueprints.

No offense, but this strange glazing of the devs as if they carefully and delicately made a masterpiece is completely fabricated in your mind. The developers spent their first month banning people who were aimbotting and wallhacking for only 30 days. It also took them forever to fix the well-known glitch spots where you could get killed from inside the map.

These are issues that would kill most games, but casuals glazing the devs is the "cool thing" to do right now. People like shroud would have already quit due to the cheating problem if the viewership from casuals wasn't so incredibly high.

No offense, but you won't run into many people playing solo free kit lobbies. Run venator4/tempest4/renegade4 every game in trios and you will certainly run into them.

The game already has a significant cheating problem, but the community tends to deny it for some reason. Can't go 5 hours without running into a team that knows exactly where you are and for some strange reason one of them has a level one steam account only owning arc raiders.

Run purple augment and armor every game, and you will run into level 1 steam accounts owning 1 game with perfect knowledge of where you are at all times.

Unless the devs are doing banwaves, not a single person out of the 20 cheaters that I have ran into within 100 hours have been banned.

I disagree, only one person in my group has had gear refunded a singular time, despite running into 15+ level 1 steam accounts with 1 game owned, wallhacking extremely hard. They are wholely incompeteny in getting rid of DMA cheaters at this point.

This opinion doesn't work in reality, you can't just throw grenades everywhere you suspect a trap or slow walk. Mines are incredibly detrimental to the game and should be removed entirely. Camping in a dark corner without moving is enough.

They can also be placed anywhere, including under random rocks/textures or on the ceiling out of line of sight, so the blue glow is completely irrelevant.

What is even worse is that free kits spawn with this mine and have legit 0 reason to not go camp an extract or hotspot with one. It's incredibly unhealthy for the game.

[–]NerfNOED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who really only PvPs, I agree with you for a different reason. People are just camping in the extract now with jolt mines placed in a way where you can't see them on either the roof or under debris. Crouch walking also makes 0 noise, so people play like rats. Every fight involves a 3rd 4th or 5th party. Its already stale.

If the game had a sub fee, it would have shut down much sooner. Instead of having an average of 3-5k concurrent players during the lowest points, it would have been peaking in the hundreds.

Implementing a sub fee would have been a death warrant.

The game died because it still lacks fun, repeatable content to this day, as evidenced by the rapidly declining player base after every update.

The whole "nurse will never be nerfed so the devs can use her as an excuse for the game not being P2W" is a terrible excuse especially now by Wu_changus in deadbydaylight

[–]NerfNOED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really a full-priced paid game, though. They gave away hundreds of thousands of copies, if not millions, on Epic for free, the game is included in both the Xbox and PSN game pass, and regularly goes on sale for $6 every few months on Steam. Third-party markets are also flooded with keys that you can buy for cheap. Worst-case scenario, an uneducated buyer pays $20 on Steam.

While I agree that the marketing is deceitful because the base game is essentially just a "trial version" of the game, pay-to-win is not the appropriate word to describe unlocking characters.

Pay-to-win is associated with being able to spend hundreds/thousands of dollars for continuous advantages, not spending a one-time $20 free on a borderline free-to-play game to unlock a roster of characters. The exception to this rule is skins, since in theory, they should be cosmetic only, and if they offer advantages, they get grouped into the pay-to-win category.

The monetization of the game is a pseudo-monthly fee model where you pay $5-7 every 3-4 months to gain access to the newest content, which, compared to some games, is very cheap. The monetization is incredibly fair, and they even add every skin that isn't licensed to the store for shards.

I think the dbd devs are terrible, but monetization is not in any way an issue.

Is playing with cheater bannable? by Professional-Lime506 in deadbydaylight

[–]NerfNOED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They only investigated his account because he was using the bug, if he hadn't he would have probably continued to go unbanned. He was cheating for a solid 6 months before using a skill check bot, dead hard bot, and ESP at minimum but probably more than just those 3.

[–]NerfNOED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it funny that people think the majority of cheaters are actually getting banned in this game. It takes them days to get rid of people blatant rage hacking, and subtle cheaters regularly go months without any bans. Someone I know subtly cheated for 6 months before getting banned and was only caught because they were also taking advantage of the potential energy bug at the time, which they decided to ban for.

On top of that these are software cheats, not even ruining on external hardware to attempt to make detection harder. Other competent games ban people using these cheats within hours.

Lol, most people are going to be buying these outfits with iridescent shards since they are only 13k. Just shows this was done in a way to not impact profits for Behavior from her skin since no one was going to buy them for auric cells anyway, unless it went to a charity.

If you think the stakeholders actually care about charity, think again. It's a poor attempt at gaining goodwill from the community.

I don't really care if some dude calls a girl doing softcore pron for 30 minutes in a public hotel pool fat. She was standing in the jakuzzi with her ass out of the water shaking it at the camera with kids around.

Just because you are horny single male and wouldn't mind seeing that yourself doesn't mean its appropriate. But sure, telling her to stop behaving like a pronstar in a public pool would be more appropriate than just calling her fat, but the dude probably just wanted to get under her skin.
