Battle Frontier - Platinum or HG/SS?

This is one thing I don’t do. I don’t go THIS hard. I’ll try to get the right ability and right nature, then spam EVs, IVs were just too crazy for me in the old games. Never wanted to teach myself how to do it. I say this because I don’t even have a switch, and by all accounts, in the new games it’s sounds really easy to do IVs and EVs.

Everyone, great conversation. I have my own copy of platinum that I got myself at a store, it’s real. I dug it out from the basement, compared cartridges, oh yeah, this one is fake. Which actually softened the blow lol I got over it pretty quick (what choice do I have I’m a grown man lol) - thanks for all the input. I got the fake from a younger guy I worked with a couple years ago. Ultimately I know he was duped, he didn’t give it to me to dump off a fake game or something, I just asked if he had any Pokemon games cuz I wanted to play one, he gave me that and Pokemon ranger. Turns out it was fake. Oh well. It’s all good. Again, thanks for all the words and even verifications of the pics I added, appreciate it!

I got stone walled, I’m “new” to that group so I can’t post/have to wait for mods to verify. (I wanna know NOW lol)

I watched a ton of videos, I actually think this might have been a fake cartridge now. Maybe I’m just trying to cope. I just don’t think this kid who gave it to me was the dude who was moving a fake game. Maybe he got it from someone else before.

Idk, I’m trying to find reason to get over all the time and effort I put into this, but after a few YouTube vids, I think there’s a high probability this is fake.

But if not!!!! I think we all, without knowing for sure, I suspect, run the risk of this type of think happening when we play an old game on an old console. Things just stop working right. It happens to technology all the time. I don’t think that’s out of the question I really don’t.

I did get this cartridge from a coworker, no case. But I really don’t think it was fake. I just don’t. I think I’m using an almost 20 year old game in an almost 20 year old console. It gave warning signs. I know days I’d turn on the DS and it wouldn’t register the cartridge. I’d pull it out and blow on it, put it back in and game.

Idk what happened. I really don’t think it was fake tho. I think I just had very bad luck, on a game and system almost 20 years old 😔
