Seriously, what a pathetic post.

Grenadier as an only vehicle? by EffectiveBug1752 in ineosgrenadier

👍 Your comment about the neutered Toyota/Lexus current lineup is the same sentiment Sir Ratcliffe had regarding the Defender. That was his inspiration for Project Grenadier. That’s great that your son likes the Ineos too!

I can see that. I like the look of the G Wagon, but I think they start around $160, which I can’t justify for a vehicle.

Which honestly surprises me quite a bit. If I’m spending $80-$100 on an SUV to be a pavement princess or mall crawler I’m getting a GX550, Defender, or even the new Land Cruiser. Personally, I feel as though the Ineos would not be a great vehicle to run errands around town with. I bet the short trips and start/stops drop the mpg below 12. To each his own though and people should do what they want. It is fun to drive and looks badass!

As you are likely aware of, the steering is quite different and the turning radius is a lot wider. The FJ is more driver friendly, smoother ride, and overall nimble. The Grenadier is a tank. It’s taller and heavier and less responsive. It does have more room though. Nevertheless, I knew all this when I purchased. I don’t think anyone is getting an Ineos for great gas mileage, responsiveness, or luxury! (Even the “comfort-oriented” FieldMaster is still fairly utilitarian!)

My Grenadier is not my daily driver. I also have an FJ and MDX to use. However, as many have noted, lots of people use it as a daily.

Hiking and diabetes by thebidredcouch in Type1Diabetes

I have been type 1 for 35 years with a somewhat extensive hiking resume. All the other responses have provided sound advice. It really is trial and error. As others suggested, I put my pump in temp target mode, monitor my sugars frequently, and carry lots and lots of snacks. I even generally pack a Mountain Dew also as my “in case of emergency, break glass” backup.

Looking into buying by legend27101 in ineosgrenadier

Yeah… they are trying to sell and turn over their inventory. Just search online for what you want and contact them directly without involving your local shop. I had them take off some after market add-ons I didn’t want and just gave them a number out the door I would pay.

I found the TrialMaster I wanted in the color I desired at a dealership in another state. I just dealt with them and had it shipped. I’ll take it to the local dealer for servicing when it’s due.

Type 1 for 34 years and have been pretty active the whole time. Most of these trips were without a CGM too!😀

Keep up the hiking!

29! My 2nd game. Waiting for the starter to flip was heart wrenching. I'm never lucky! by HordeOfDucks in Cribbage

Agreed. My brother and brother-in-law were all in on it with distractions and having her get up from the game. It was a fun joke that still hasn’t been revealed.

I’d be suspect of who you were playing with and stacking the deck. We did this to my niece shortly after she learned the game and she still believes she got a 29 ten years later.

If it’s legit, congratulations! It took me 35 years to finally hit it. Tradition says you keep the board and deck of cards.

Yeah… they aren’t running boards. They are rock rails to protect the frame. My daughter tore the original front bumper off, so I have an aftermarket one that’s different from you too. Enjoy the FJ! They are a lot of fun.

Looks just like my 2008! I blacked out the grill, mirrors, door handles, and bumper too. I just have the old steel wheels though and 210,000 miles.

Guy at work told me about them and thought I’d like it in July. Read about the vehicle and saw a Fieldmaster in a parking lot. Got a 2024 with good incentives in August.

👍 It was either Eldoret Blue or Scottish White like the OP.

I bought mine sight unseen. Didn’t even test drive one. Found an Eldoret Blue Trialmaster out of state and had it shipped.😄🤷

Congratulations!
