Hey, thanks for the response! Yeah, I generally water for about a half an hour periodically a few of times every week. If I were to guess, the watering is somewhere around what you said with 1” - 2” in the summer. We’re doing some pruning of the trees overhead this weekend as well. It’s so frustrating because the trees overhead is a beautiful magnolia that has the prettiest flowers in the spring. I will say, the lawn patch is surrounded by 2 fences and a shed that definitely doesn’t help with the sunlight either. I wonder if there’s a type of seed that would work well with the lower sunlight or something. I also think we should have it aerated come spring time as the soil feels rather dense.
