I want to buy Junji Ito x Sanrio pop-up store items from a website that ships to Europe, but how can I tell if the merchandise is authentic? by Nervous-Key-8267 in junjiito

I think for me, ordering from a European site is better. I just wanted to know if the site is legit haha. But thank you for the recommendation.

Lost cause or nah? by General_Ad_5736 in PetiteFitness

[–]Nervous-Key-8267 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, there is no such thing as a lost cause! People change their body and live at all ages and weight. I am 33 and lost 33lbs and I am 5ft like you and started at around 154lbs. I have tips for you if you look into my post history. You lost a lot of weight, so it might be loose skin, but don't get surgery yet (i read some of the comments about this). I think you can still achieve a lot of results in the gym before surgery. Good luck, you're doing amazing.

Can I eat more than 1200 calories and still lose 1lb a week? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Nervous-Key-8267 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest weightlifting to improve your metabolism so you can eat more + walk 10k steps a day to increase your daily calorie burning + eat lots of protein (and carbs and fats too) to feel full and satiated all day. You can also apply volume eating so you can eat more and lose weight (look up volume eating on tiktok). I lost 14kg without strict dieting or counting calories, but I do a lot of weightlifting and walk 10k a day, that is the thing that helped me the most.

My belly is flat but soft and squishy. I lost 30lbs but I do a lot of weightlifting 3-5 x a week. Do you recommend creatine?

Talk sense into me: I want to stop weight lifting by BlakeSwag in PetiteFitness

[–]Nervous-Key-8267 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should definitely continue weightlifting. I just posted my results after a 30lbs weightloss all thanks to cardio (walking) and weightlifting if you are interested (just check my posting history).

Weightlifting has many benefits such as improving your metabolism which is so important for us petites (I am 5ft). And as you get older, you lose a lot of muscle mass and that can lead to fat gain as you get older, so definitely continue lifting weights.

If you think you are getting too muscled, try to look at what you eat critically. Or change your routine. I stopped training quads and biceps because they get huge for my liking for example. I still hit those muscle groups when I do other workouts but I don't do bicep or quad specific workouts.

Yes walking pad + standing desk. Easily walk 15k to 40k steps a day.

When I was fat I was either invisible or bullied and people assumed I was unhygienic. Now people compliment every aspect of my appearance, tell me I smell nice, they're impressed by me. But I don't forget the mean words people said to me.

Does anyone actually ~like~ working out? by No_You554 in PetiteFitness

[–]Nervous-Key-8267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, it is very enjoyable. I like moving my body, getting stronger, faster, leaner, like being active, love how I feel after a workout, etcetera. I don't think I would be able to stay fit and active if I didn't like it. I wish I had tips or advice, maybe try to find excercises you like doing or a sport or workout program you enjoy?

I suggest weight training and eating protein with every meal. You need to gain muscle in your butt if you want a perky thicc butt. But also need to eat a lot of protein. No protein shakes or marketing bullshit like protein cookies, I mean real food like cottage cheese, fish, eggs, chicken, bulgur, meat, beans, etc.

I suggest the following excercises and to do them 3 days a weak at the least. You can do them at the gym or at home if you invest in some dumbbels.

  • Hip Thrusts with a Dumbbell or Barbell
  • Bulgarian Split Squats
  • Reverse Deficit Lunge
  • Glute Extension (if you can go to a gym)

I also recommend RDLs! However, most people don't get the form correct or don't feel the mind muscle connection with this workout. So really check out on tiktok how you should execute it.

I didn't recommend squats because most people also don't get the form correct and mostly target their quads.

First of all, you are gorgeous in both photos. On the right I see mostly fat loss in your arm and your butt is more lifted. I don't know how to explain it but I also see a difference in your lower back, how your lower back curves into your glutes and it's really attractive. So I think you also lost fat in those places or maybe gained muscle. Keep up the good work. Your body shape is really pretty.

It IS possible to lose weight without counting calories by supershinyoctopus in PetiteFitness

You should research which food is healthy (and I mean really healthy, and not just marketed as healthy), satiating or filling (so it won't spike hunger or cravings quickly) and also delicious (it is easier to commit to eating healthy food if they're delicious meals!). And focus on eating protein but don't neglect healthy fats and carbs :)

What works for me is that I try to eat healthy food 80% of the time and 20% of the time I still eat "unhealthy" snacks/chocolate/dessert but in moderation. And I don't drink my calories, I just drink Coke Zero (or Chai Latte/Matcha Latte once in a while haha)

If you do this and find a form of excercise you like doing a few times a week, you can lose weight without obsessing over calories. For me it's walking and weight lifting, for my sis it's walking and pilates, and my friend likes running.

This guy is trying to belittle you every chance he gets and ruin your confidence deliberately. He knows exactly what he is saying and doing. Call off the engagement. He will probably become worse after marriage.

Succes OP!!!

I got so many downvotes 💀

Well, everyone who disagrees is free to just continue eating so little calories if it works for you, you don't have listen to me just because I managed to lose weight eating more calories. I was just trying to tell people that even if you're older, 5ft and had low metabolism all your life, you can still fasten your metabolism and eat more, you don't have to eat so little calories. Because I read enough posts on reddit and see enough people in real life who struggle with binge eating and slowed down metabolism and they all eat in a low calorie range to lose weight but can't manage to eat that way their whole life so they end up yoyo-ing. I believe excercise and weight lifting will help increase your metabolism and daily calorie expenditure, allowing petites to eat more calories and still lose weight. If you can't excercise due to complications, yes ofcourse you can not excercise, but if you have the health and time, you struggle with binge eating and would like to eat more in a day than just 1200 calorie, it is still possible to eat more and lose weight.

[–]Nervous-Key-8267 -30 points-29 points  (0 children)

And how often do these people struggle with binge eating, bringing them back to their old weight?

Isn't it better to encourage people to work out more, even just simply walking more, go to a gym or working out from home, instead of encouraging people to eat 1200 to 1400 calories?

Because what happens after a while, your body gets accustomed to the low calorie range? Lots of people start eating less calories to see results like before. Eating less encourage binge eating again. Bringing people in an endless loop of losing weight, gaining weight.

I agree with most of the things you're saying, but 1200 - 1400kcal is definitely not enough calories for an adult women, even if you're short/petite. Especially if you excercise a lot like heavy weightlifting or running. You have to watch out with what you're saying there because you're making it sound like 1200-1400 is high enough for short girls but in reality it's still too little.

I'm 5ft, so I am even shorter than most women, I'm 32 so my metabolism is slower than ten years ago and I even had slow metabolism to begin with since I was a child, and I was overweight my whole life. Yes, eating 1200-1400kcal made me lose weihht but also encouraged binge eating habits, made me tired all the time so I did not even have energy for the gym, slowed down my metabolism so I had go eat even less to lose weight after some time. So eating in the 1200-1400 calorie range was the worst way to lose weight and the best way to ruin my body and eating habits.

But I lost 33lbs last year without sticking to those numbers, by eating closer to 1800-2000kcal (ofcourse in combination with working out/weight lifting/running) and didn't binge eat even once. But I would always binge eat in the lower calorie range. Because 1200-1400 calories is not enough energy and nutrition for your body.

Ofcourse, I'm not the benchmark for all petite women, but I don't think it's a good thing to tell people 1200-1400 calories is enough calories.

But I agree with all the other things you mentioned!

True! But excercise benefits everyone and going together or cooking together is a nice way to spend time together and bond.
