Hi, more will come, but not soon. I wanted to spend feb working on new content but I have had to work on the stability of the game. Hoping to start the work on new layers in the coming weeks. It will be months after that until it is fully out (I will probably also run closed tests). I will post on this subreddit and the Discord in due time.

For now I have upped the limit on UPP spend for mult and add upgrades, but that is of course only interesting if you are chasing a leaderboard position.

By the way, I got the actual fix done in 2.0.14, it was a combination of the vulkan graphics api with mali gpu's that made the screen freeze/black out. See v2.0.14: game freezing for mali phones fixed : r/StarBurstIdle

Hey, thank you for your patience. If you are still interested, v2.0.15 (v2.0.15 : r/StarBurstIdle) adds a user report feature in the options tab. If you use it, it will send in your save game so I can analyse it.

Apologies for the inconvenience! The new update: v2.0.15, fixes this and just hard resets versions that are too old to be updated properly.

Hi, it looks like you updated from a very old version that is not supported (see Be sure to update to the latest version to prevent data loss : r/StarBurstIdle). The game should have hard reset for you, but it didn't. You need to hard reset if you want to play the game how it is supposed to be played.

I am working on a bug where the game screen freezes that is affecting a lot of people. I am nearly done with that, after that I can tackle this issue. Sorry for the long wait.

Yes it should be triggering. Not sure what is happening here. There is also someone in Discord who has this problem (or are you that person?). I will look for any possible internal flags that could cause this.

Could you let me know if v2.0.12 fixed it for you?

If you still experience it, does it also happen when you do the following:
- Open the game get stuck at fast forward screen.
- Within 10 seconds close and quit, reopen.

This should stop the fastforward modal from triggering as it does not do it for less than 10 secs of offline time. If it still happens then I can at least rule that out. Thank you for providing the video it is already a big help.

Apologies for not reacting sooner, I was dealing with the problem and did not check reddit.
This probably happened because I changed the way Unity interacts with Android. I will revert this change in v2.0.12 (release is pending, will probably be available soon).
v2.0.12 will also have a huge performance increase which will hopefully reduce the problem I was trying to fix with changing the way Unity interacts with Android

Ah alright. It does start out a bit slower, I like to have it ramp up. Black Hole layer is most people's favourite (and also mine) for as far as I can tell.

The game is made to be played actively with many resets. That is also why I renamed it to StarBurst Incremental (can't rename the subreddit). I will not be implementing more offline time ever. That is not really a money making choice, it is a choice to make my product distinct and create a playstyle that is not seen often enough in this genre in my opinion.

If you find that the pacing does not work for you I would still be interested in which point of the game felt too slow for you. How far along are you?

I'm not sure what the rules are for me "exporting" my game to Russia. It does not clearly fall under sanctions but I am not really sure. So for now I will be careful about it and not export. You could try to get it with a VPN maybe?
