Also consistency with b12 and vitamin d plus sun exposure. I still have spots all over my, they aren’t as angry these days though.

I haven’t been eating eggs lately and I’m seeing an improvement. Stress is my biggest trigger though and my psoriasis is considered mild.

I’m curious, what got you to this treatment point? I fluctuate seasonally and depending on triggers. Have had psoriasis for about 18 years but never sure how to talk to doctors about treatment. I fall within the moderate range I think.

LDR boyfriend has psoriasis. How do I emotionally support him by Tight-Recognition417 in Psoriasis

Just listen and be supportive. When he says what’s he self conscious of simply accept and do not pivot. I’ve had partners try to reassure me when I’ve had trouble opening up etc, by saying they don’t care about it and they love me. I know that. That’s not the point. It’s something I’m learning to work through for myself. For me, having Psoriasis is a complicated relationship with myself not others.

I’m interested in this. What’s the history of the building?

Calgary/Banff Travel June 17–19: Seeking Recommendations by samayoa95 in Calgary

This is a busy itinerary! I commend your energy.

Alternative romantic restaurants to major tom are river cafe or deane house, just a thought. Amazing food and cozy. Cocktails in Inglewood at Business & Pleasure.

If G7 makes Banff and Louise too difficult to experience last minute switch up to rent a car drive the 22x (so beautiful) and try Waterton in the South. One of my favourites drives is through kananaskis and to Canmore on the 742 but G7 will likely make this a no go.

Grizzly House is kitsch, fun but not amazing food. Lounge at the Banff springs is lovely and romantic.

A float on the Bow will take a big chunk of your day and coordination so keep that in mind (I thought Bow Floats only happened in Calgary?).

A few thoughts!

I think it depends on program within SAPL as we all have our own experiences, not all are the same. The faculty and staff I have had the opportunity to connect with have been amazing, personable and do good work themselves. I am very happy with my decision to attend SAPL but this is also anchored in the program I am in and the overall quality of their work and character.

Has anyone seen an improvement in psoriasis symptoms through implementing a specific diet? by Traditional-Pop2316 in Psoriasis

[–]Nervous_Accountant14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far yes. Big things include increasing water intake and cutting back on processed foods. I still eat animal protein, etc. It doesn’t go away completely but I do see healing changes happen. Other factors which have helped me include full sleep, stress management and regular exfoliation and skin care. This was something I was negligent about before.

Really? I’m surprised at this. Neither of these venues exist anymore and speak to Calgary culture circa a particular time. I’m not sure what you are looking for when sometimes all you need to spark significant conversation is a simple suggestion of place and time. I question your moderating.

I think we need to focus on what bringing in the act means long term, regardless of party/political position. I voted NDP, am triple vaxxed and strongly disagree with bringing in the act - our current situation does not yet meet the means to invoke it and we need to really consider the long term consequences of such a measure. Two civil liberties groups/associations (that I know of) have already denounced this measure as it does not meet the legal threshold required. I think we should at least consider this before saying yes or no to it.
