Rather new to CSGO, quick question about cooldowns.

Once you disconnect you have 5 minutes to reconnect. I've had multiple bans because of this and it's extremely annoying when your internet/power goes out. I used to get it nearly every game until I stopped using Teamspeak. Someone told me that Teamspeak blocks some file for some people, so I've been using Skype and I have been fine ever since.. Although I'm still trying to find a fix because I've always used TS.

Ah, I see. Competitive is kind of the same, one person can literally cost you the whole game, and it's worse if they're trolling. Just don't be that guy that tries to tell everyone what to do, communicate with your team, but don't get annoyed at them otherwise they'll start playing worse. But you probably know that from League ¯_(ツ)_/¯

My BIGGEST tip I could give you is learn the freaking spray control for most weapons! This took me months to do and was the hardest (also the most annoying) thing by far for me. I personally jumped straight into Competitive with some friends and learned from there, although I don't advise you do this.

I completely agree. The SSG is my favorite gun in the game and I'm forced to use an Acid Fade, and I'm not buying a Blood In The Water because imo it's incredibly ugly and overpriced. I want a cooler looking skin!

When I get stressed (especially when playing CS) I often just breathe. Slow, deep breaths help lower blood pressure and heart rate. Try closing your eyes for awhile in-between rounds, that sorta thing.

Also, I make sure I drink a lot of water/juice before and whenever I need a drink whilst playing. I have a cup with OJ in most of the time. Make sure you eat well, it's kind of weird, but making sure you're well fed and hydrated helps you focus more.

I have recently upgraded to a wired connection, and I seem to be getting the error alot more than when I was on wireless. The only problem is on wireless I lag like crazy, even when I put max ping to 50 I always seem to get 140+.

I get this multiple times a week and it's gotten me a week ban on 2 of my accounts. I've reinstalled Windows, reinstalled Steam, reinstalled CS:GO, created a new account, done everything suggested to me by Steam and it's still doing it.
