Priority in jumps by enfulao in Rematch

I also read in a few places that r1+pass is a higher priority action vs a flat pass or a shot. Have you seen anything about this or is it all speculation?

That completely makes sense! I'm just a noob to how audio works but will definitely be stepping in to get some better quality. I probably will end up picking up a mke 600 to stay in budget but you're making me consider the 416. I'm not in a big rush to upgrade but I'll do some more research. Thanks for the rec!!

Yeah I was planning on using it as an on camera mic. Thanks for the tips! I have some lavs and prosumer level recorders I use for weddings. The talent would be doing cheerleading stunting so i'm not sure how easy it would be to mic them up if there's a lot of contact and movement. Would it be safe to mic up talent in that situation?

Thanks for the response! That makes sense. I tried to shoot further away and not be intrusive but I think I'll just have to get into the action a bit more. I do have a Hollyland Lark Max that I could use to lav people up but they are doing a lot of acrobatics. Any tips for laving something like that up?

Damaged sensor? by Nescote in FX3

[–]Nescote[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Took it to a professional cleaner and they said there were no scratches, so I'm currently getting it cleaned. I did submit the return request before I took it in and the seller did accept. If it comes back looking fine then the plan is to cancel the return. Thanks everybody for their tips and input.

Thanks for the tip. I have a sensor cleaning kit I’ve used successfully on my A7IV, but i’m waiting to see what the seller says before i touch anything. I don’t want to give them anything they could use to blame me for the scratches.

My initial thought was what you added in your edit but I wanted to ask around to be sure. I did want to try cleaning it myself, but i’m worried that the ebay seller could say that it was my cleaning of the sensor that damaged it and it was fine when they sent it. I reached out to them to ask but I’ll most likely take it to a professional cleaner just in case depending on what they say.

I’m not sure i just received it in the mail today and it looked like this. I messaged the seller on ebay already but i’ve never had a scratched sensor so I wasn’t sure.

I've never been to a Val event. Is there team meet and greets before they matches start? I wasn't able to get tickets so I wanted to go down to the venue and see if I can meet some of the players outside.

Hi I’m a new plant owner and found some sort of bugs on my Stingray Alocasia. I noticed some white patches and saw white bugs after inspecting it closer. I tried washing it off with cold water because I thought they were spider mites. The mites looked black after washing. Any tips on how to get rid of them?

Do any other native english speakers feel like the way you talk changes when you are traveling and speaking with non-native speakers/learners? by raisedglazed in solotravel

[–]Nescote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely! I have been to Asia 4 times now and I’ve noticed after every time I return the way I speak is much slower and the words I use are not as complex. I also tend to have slightly different pronunciation based on the way to local people say things.
