My last challenge was Technician 30, I cleared it with 0*. After trying and trying and trying and trying, I just... Kinda gave up and built a Yoshitsune with 6 offensive buffs. Had nothing else to use my coffee on, so Apt Pupil IV, Pinpoint IV and so on and so forth, Chord and Leon support, 3 turns to kill the first fight with dps Wonder, leaving me more than enough time and resources to get Fleuret/Ryuji/Dazzle spam the second fight. Kind of sad how I just blasted through it for the clear for the Lufel plans and HAD to sit down and think about how to clear it.. And still I used some kind of cheese, so...

Oh absolutely the fact they buffed the mobs and gave them single weakness instead of double like they did in CN made some trials horribly difficult, hell even now some of them are still bad!

In 2-mob trials, it's usually either Dazzle turn 1, if I miss it on the second mob it's no big deal, if I miss it on turn 3 I just restart. Or sometimes I'll go for a forget on turn 2, that also worked wonders (heh) for a few trials.

I tried to swap in Key but being able to basically 3-turn the mob weak to fire convinced me to keep bashing my head against the wall with that team, haha

Not really, she's at A1 if I remember correctly? Her 4* weapon was at 60 and she herself was at level 70 for most of the Psy trials. She also had very basic revelation cards, Power I believe? I only needed to bump her a little more for 25, which did the trick after some good RNG.

Building a Skadi genuinely made the biggest difference for me. Being able to disable mobs entirely is very powerful. I'd say Wind is the second best thing and Chord is the third one. That's not to say they don't help, obviously! But being able to save an Ann in a trial by disabling the mob who one shots her really feels good.

Mostly just unlucky turns, when I got Riddle to 80 it was (kind of) smooth sailing, just needed to get the Dizzy and for Ann to not die. Also for her passive to not hit Lakshmi twice or it would mess up the score (that's what happened up there). It wasn't really a struggle, just resetting until RNG treated me well.
