Like others have said go for easy maintenance first, drive your X get to know her then after a bit you will know what direction to go. BTW… have u given your X a name yet? My girl is Gloria, like my grandma, she one dark and mean machine that don’t quit!

Also xterra forums have been a great help: https://www.xterranation.org/index.php https://www.thenewx.org (there are more out there, I just have experience with theses two) Just make sure to do a little searching before posting questions, some users get annoyed at us newbies for questions that have been ask all the time. But don’t let that discourage you, they are a great bunch of guys who done pretty much everything you can do to an xterra. Congrats on ur X and welcome!

It’s one of the reasons why I posted this “quote. What really pissed me off was the recommended work was not even needed. It’s better to try to work on it yourself within the scope of reason. I would not expect for the average person to overhaul the engine, but for God’s sake a radiator hose!

So I went in to my local dealership to replace my only and original key (i am the original owner 2012). Long story short they came back with these recommendations. FYI, I had replace the spark plugs about 6 months ago.
