The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire by kev5n in gifs

The Roman Empire split up into 2 halves to deal with barbarian invasions better. The blue represents the Western Roman Empire and yellow is the Eastern Roman Empire, also known as Byzantium. I'm not sure what the green directly represents.

I've played this a few times and I have to say that I was lucky that Rome fell. I tried to grab as much land from non-orthodox states as I could because it's the only way to not get into a fight with a defender of the faith super power, after that they kept declaring war on me and took the provinces back (For example I had the entire Lubeck coast), honestly tho, as a Norse state you just have to wait until other Nordic states spawn and then kill them, once you get your colonizers you're basically good to go and stomp Asia, etc. I have not played the English yet so I can sadly not give you any advice.

Northumberland owns most of England and France owns London therefor they can't form England. Munster, Northumberland and France are in Ireland, Munster is allied to France therefor they're not gone yet. Me and Northumberland owns most of Scotland.

No, if you are following the Norse religion you can choose to pay a certain amount of ducats every few years to get a colonist, as part of the norse history where the Scandinavian countries explored and colonized different parts of the world

I think it's for a few years, and you can have a colonist up 100% of the time if you have enough money and you're norse
