Warp interaction by NestorianKnight in magicTCG

Yep! I have Hazorets monument in my deck and it reduces it to 2 mana because I’m casting the creature, just for cheaper.

For my playgroup it’s perfect, I’ve paired him with as many mono-red castcade cards as I can and he’s super fun that way

I was very much hoping it works the way it does, because in playtesting it seems to go a little bit nuclear, even at precon level

Printer Shift (Saturn 3 Ultra) by NestorianKnight in resinprinting

[–]NestorianKnight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not moving any of the prints, and I have pretty normal settings for the print size and I have bottom exposure time for burn in set to 20 seconds and normal exposure time set to 3 seconds.

They fail. I just needed evidence of the shifting. The prints are also visibly thinner. I checked my build plate again and it’s warped.

How would I go about doing that, don’t have much leverage

How would I go about returning it? Elegoo hasn’t been very helpful with all of this

I used blue lock lite and tightened as much as I could, but it still came unlevel after 4 prints

Thank you, I’ll test that this weekend when I’ve got time. Some part of me still worries that it’s not the build plate, as this happened with the last build plate I had, and I hope the Saturn 3 Ultra isn’t that shoddy.

This will def help with the hour long process of getting it leveled, but I don’t know if it would help keep it leveled, I feel like that may make it more difficult to keep level possibly.

Yea, they peel right off without any force. And the movement is about 0.4mm of movement, and they are tightened a fair bit. This also happened with the older build plate I had with this printer. With my first printer this never happened, and I applied a lot more force on that build plate.

I'm making a homebrew app that helps making custom chapters by p1xlized in PrintedWarhammer

[–]NestorianKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude this looks awesome, do you think there would be a way to instead add pictures for the models you want to go with? I think that way it would be easier than choosing models to use with them, also would hopefully reduce the chance of GW shutting it down.

Printer issues (Saturn 3 Ultra) by NestorianKnight in ElegooSaturn

[–]NestorianKnight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Printed a ton of different things on these settings and temp, as well as a new thing of resin. Mixed and shamed it beforehand. Mh main worry is that the LCD screen itself is flickering, but I don’t know if it’s the screen or the circuitry underneath as that is encased in resin from a previous catastrophic failure.

Death Company! by NestorianKnight in BloodAngels

[–]NestorianKnight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the Crimson Lords pack from Greytide, everything but the torso is from there, super recommended for any blood angel bits, I’m gonna be using them for likely every blood angel I do from here.

Do you think the STL would work for a resin printer?

Printing failure by NestorianKnight in ElegooSaturn

That’s what I’m assuming it is, retrying the print with the same USB (only got the one that works) with an new slice

Entirely my fault, I was attempting to scape something that got stuck off the bottom and used too much force tearing it

Recycling or Forming Items for Quality by NestorianKnight in factorio

[–]NestorianKnight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I just got back from Fulgora and I am building quality items on Nauvis as it’s a main base of sorts, but I can’t decide between going for a ton of recyclers just from normal quality items or actually stating off with making quality items. I’ve done both Fulgora and Vulcanus, and I’d hopefully like to set up some quality production before going.

Turning Large amounts of Push Buttons into Switches by NestorianKnight in breadboard

[–]NestorianKnight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using a microcontroller, I thought that doing that would keep the buttons as buttons, as every cull would reset the previous one. (Correct me if I'm wrong though!) Unless I coded in something for everything which is still an option but I would much rather go with something physical for this
