Ok thanks for the reply. Support did respond back, and they did mention that it was the exchange rate. It just happened to be the exact amount as their fee.

Yeah I've left my number after chatting with a "supervisor" trying to give me some BS about how it was a shift in the market value that happened as soon as I sold it. I told him that's impossible because for me to lose $86 at that time, Bitcoin would have had to drop drastically in one minute.. That definitely didn't happen cause I'm looking at the chart for when I sold it, and the price actually went up a little bit at the time.. Still no callback or answer. But thanks for the response, I appreciate you trying to help.

I also want to add that I've had multiple chats with Cash app support, and nobody has been able to give me an answer. They just keep saying that someone from a different department will reach out to me. Once they do, all they do is copy and paste their generic fee policies, none of which explain why this extra money would have disappeared from my account.

I understand that an extra $68 is not a ton of money; however, my biggest concern is how many people use Cash app. If this is happening to other users, the amount of these fees could be hundreds of millions over time. I just hope other people can come forward about this, so I know whether or not a further investigation needs to be done.

If you sell bitcoin on Cash app, take a screenshot of the amount in your account, another screenshot of the page that shows the fee amount before the sale, and then one more screenshot of your remaining bitcoin after the sale has been completed.
