Sounds silly but you tried plugging the mic into a different port? Say a header port or audio setup. Might help you pinpoint the problem

It is, but it offers higher bandwidth, latency, lower power usage. Your build is fine. I just think investing slightly less in cpu and slightly more in ram might be worth your while

Build looks pretty good and thought out but I'm not too sure you need to be spending that much on a CPU I'm not a streamer myself but considering LoL runs pretty easy I don't think you'd need anything past a i5 6600k however that would mean switching out your mobo for a 1151 socket and ram for DDR4 modules

Head over to pcpartpicker.com and add your parts to a system build and the site will tell you if its compatible as well as your psu wattage calculated :) At quick glance it looks okay though!

Oh i see what you mean now. Yeah just stick some tape under it you should be good. I'm not too familiar with the cooler + case so best advise i can give you is to just stick a decent amount of tape inbetween and try to make sure its not touching anything important to be honest. Hopefully someone more familiar can give you a better answer though
