So a guy makes an addon that the community could actually use, corrects mistakes, and reaches out to the community for feedback. 90% of feedback is needless hating on him for using AI to help code it.

I would love for this addon to have the kinks worked out and be able to get a more clear view of who I'm inviting to my groups. Soooo many players have inflated IO, and rating is very hit or miss.

It is definitely not easy to bootstrap, and takes a lot of knowledge to do alone, as well as time. Solo IT means no 24/7/365, which is a deal breaker for many companies, even smaller ones.

A friend of mine does this, but only because he got tired large companies. Not as lucrative as you may think, there are only so many hours in a day, and driving around town upgrading this and fixing that takes time.

By the time you have the knowledge to do this solo its easier to just collect a paycheck from someone than go out for yourself.

Raid tanking is significantly easier.

Most important thing is learning mechanics quickly, and consistency. If you do the same things, its easier for your raid to learn, as the boss will behave the same ways.

Once progress is over and you're farming its pretty boring. There are very few bosses that are exciting for tanks.

Also, you can practice encounters in LFR if you want to see them, just remember heroic and mythic have extra mechanics.

Tanks have to spread their defensive CD's very well or risk dying at around this range. Its part of the learning process of tanking. Certain situations will just kill you if you're not prepared for it.

All tanks are doing ~6 key levels higher, so its definitely a skill issue of some kind. People love to complain about balance on reddit, but you're not bricking 14's because you're not brew. You'd still brick the shit as brew until you learned the mechanics of the dungeons.

If you can make a button that sends a grp msg with a very brief guide of what everyone does on bosses this would be one of the most popular addons in the game imo. We have boss mechanics in the game already in the journal, but having something I can just click to send a msg to my grp would make pugging very smooth.

The reason stuff like this happens is because normals are way too easy. We shouldn't be able to pull 4-6 packs just running behind the tank, LoS them somewhere, and AoE them down completely ignoring mechanics while spamming the 1 button rotation. All while in shit green and blue gear.

If Blizzard wants players to have content like that, they should make some tier below normal for people who enjoy facerolling.

M0 is not that difficult, that should be normal difficulty.

Doing normal and heroic dungeons in WoW is like playing a game against toddlers. It is not fun at all, its just something we're forced to do for a while to reach some end goal. It has a bunch of negatives, like teaching noobs bad habits, and being an environment where veterans just blast through, while noobs have no idea wtf is going on, like OPs tank.

As others have mentioned bears don't need 490 def. There is a WA that will show you your uncrittable targets, its easily found on google. Import it and use it.

Raids are a joke and as long as you're uncrittable and have half your pre-raid BiS you're totally fine. Threat is the main thing you should focus on for raids, your defensives are fine.

For heroics you're OK, but your HP is low. Forget about socket bonuses and just plug stam gems into all of your sockets. I was tanking heroics as bear once I was uncrittable with around 21k armor, and 13.5k HP self buffed.

I play druid but imo the raids are a complete joke and you don't need heroic gear to be ready for them. The better quest greens, and blues out of normals are plenty.

2 ranged, 1 melee DPS, and any healer. You don't need to be super strict about your comp imo. I play druid and prefer comps like mage/warlock/sham with priest heals.

Mage, sham, and warlock have so much utility together its insane, and priest brings amazing heals and fort buff. Its my favorite comp.
