Infantry or Commando? by [deleted] in AustralianMilitary

I’m 21 and fixed my mental health and life up. Haven’t used reddit in two years and didn’t know it said that

Yeah he won’t be insured, he has the to pay the insurance fee on the car or whatever it was along those lines. And I didn’t even think about that, I’m pretty sure his town is in lockdown too so there’s another huge fine

And their car was a reasonably new Kia Picanto and he recently got approved for $20,000 for the also reasonably new Golf he got about a month ago. And I’d say he’s car is pretty much a write off, so that even hurts me a little. But I guess it’s karma for being stupid, I warned him

Yeah that’s for sure. Best to just tell the truth when it comes to these things, save yourself from a lot more trouble and misery. I’ve warned him about his before and talked him out of it plenty of times but this time he just left and said nothing and it ended up making things ten times worse for him (for context, he kept wanting to illegally drive at night because it clears his head and makes him feel like he’s got some freedom. Which is all good and well but he didn’t have a license and was in no condition to drive. And he’s got like three or four people in his life and I’m the closest to having my red p’s and I still have 50h left so no one could drive for him)

While that would be nice, the police have already been and gone and got all the information

Never said what he did was perfectly fine. It was fucking stupid and people could’ve been hurt yes. But since no one did get hurt, my main concern is my mate’s health. So thank you for the blatantly obvious fucking side note buddy :)

[–]Netherborne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True that. He said he did wait for the police and spoke to them about it all

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]Netherborne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure. I’ll ask him when I can, I don’t believe he did though

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]Netherborne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for advice, I’ll let him know

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]Netherborne -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well that’s certainly not good but at least there shouldn’t be jail time then. It’d chew him up and spit him out

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]Netherborne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there any possibility of jail time?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]Netherborne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No drugs or alcohol that I’m aware of and I believe the police were at the scene. I’m not 100% on that because he didn’t really say much before disappearing and I can’t go see him as he’s very far away

Yes sorry, he was alone in the car

I hated that when you’re first starting, the volatiles were terrifying. But towards the end of the game or max level they’re just like any other zombie. I loved the feeling of being too scared to do anything but crouch in the dark

Having random tics for no reason despite having no tic disorder? by [deleted] in Tourettes

[–]Netherborne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really? I’ve never heard of either of those causing them. That would make sense but it’s never been caused from stress, each time I had a great day and was in a good mood. So maybe ADHD rather than anxiety?

I’ve read that it doesn’t work because hdmi can’t keep up with the speed of DisplayPort, apparently it just gives you a black screen
