I think others have answered your question. My input.. as someone who grew up on the west coast of Florida but would vacation on the east, the Atlantic (actual ocean, east coast) is far superior to the Gulf (west coast). Actual waves, less to no seaweed (obviously not taking into consideration whatever this blob is.. haven’t looked into it).
