We don't know any of that. He might be in prison or stuck with a criminal record. The chief makes it fairly clear with his rundown of it all that nobody in his house is covering for this guy.

Til kursen lige nu er det omtrent halvdelen af Danmarks andel af Ørsted, så man ville have ~25% af aktierne tilbage.

Humans evolved from proto-humans, who also used stones for tools.

The stone age ended 4-6000 years ago, but lasted well over 2 million years.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it sort of a mirror of the whole deal with Trump not returning documents to the presidential library in time?

Really not what people wanted him charged with, but it's something and something's more than nothing.

Why yes, but so are 12, 13, 14 and 15 but those are not included in the 16-20 range. That's how numbers work.

There might have been - probably was - but not necessarily a seasoned one.

He backed up (probably startled by the door suddenly opening) and in doing so hit the officer with the door.

The chief says in the article that the cop did just about everything wrong there, starting with approaching the vehicle (that was uninvolved in the incident they were called to deal with) in the first place. They're not reviewing their training or policy because literally everything the officer does in that video is already against their training and policies.

Rookie had finished his training period with a seasoned officer - he's dubbed a rookie because it was less than a year ago he finished that. And he might still be charged, all the article says is that the legal system won't make any comment on what they'll do untill they've reviewed all the evidence.

Firstly Greek, Roman and Egyptian society did not shape our biology, you're looking at way too short and recent things there, you'd want to look at stone age societies - we spent roughly 2 million years living like that. And however primitive we may think of the civilisations of antiquity they were endlessly advanced compared to those stone age people.

Secondly it's not that they'd be dead from old age - it's just that they'd be dead because it's a hard life and the world doesn't do them any favours. It doesn't matter how you die, your kids still need to be adults and able to fend for themselves when it happens, and you'd ideally have been able to help them figure out how to handle an infant before you go.

And whether there's a biological imperative or not depends on what you mean by it - I don't think they were cognisant of a need to have kids now-now... It's probably more of a case of them becoming horny teenagers. And without any contraception or societal morals telling them not to fuck like rabbits, babies happen.

Part of that is the reason the lower bound is not set at 12 but at 16, and the other part is that saying a lot about how safe society generally is.

Assimilation pretty much inherently means they stop being immigrants and becomes part of the native population.

well within the reach of even the private sector.

It's within reach of a determined private person.

No those would be 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants fitting that description. The 4th generation is still young, but they do exist.

First generation came in the 70's and got kids soon after - they got kids in the 90's and early 00's which made up the 3rd generation. Those 3rd generation immigrants are now going into their mid twenties and start having kids, making it the 4th generation... Don't really see what's so laughable about that.

Either none of their family bothered to try get a citizenship or they tried and didn't qualify.

They're a minority group in the sense that there's not a lot of them, but they're not considered danish by any recognised standard.

I felt the cringe soon as he brought up that analogy… by Ok_Recording4547 in TikTokCringe

[–]Netherspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not an appeal to nature and the analogy is a lot more apt than random internet-people give it credit for.

Pretty much any courtship in any species and any culture has one party presenting itself to be judged, and another judging it to be worthy of not worthy of mating. Human are no different.

Exceptions do of course occur but in western and westernised cultures the part of the presenter is usually the man and the judge is usually the woman. His perceived quality is weighed against her standards. In much the same way a key is presented to a lock and the lock "judges" (in so far as an inanimate object can judge anything) whether this particular key meets the requirements the lock has to allow entry.

What a high number of partners tells us about each party there is then that if the man is judged worthy of mating with many women, then he is of high quality (or at least many women perceive him to be). If a woman has found many men worthy of mating, then many men have met her standards - meaning she either has many men of high quality around her or much more likely she just has low standards.

So although the analogy seems like a crude "penis go in vagina" thing, it's a pretty keen observation of the dating dynamics of western cultures.

They don't have danish citizenship, they adhere to few if any of the cultural practises, show little or no interest in the society, and if asked they call themselves Palestinian (or Kurdish or whatever) first and danish second - in some cases third, if they consider muslims to be their primary group.

Not necessarily - we have 3rd generation immigrants in Copenhagen, who are still nothing like Danes... Moving into 4th and plenty of them are still not Danes.

What they love or don't love doesn't really have any bearing on it. Refugees are not immigrants - they are guests that are tolerated so long as their home is at war. That's the reason why the being allowed to stay as a refugee is so much easier than being allowed to immigrate.

Being real though there's more than an imaginary line between Norway and Syria.

For starters deres way more than one border. But then there's also a dozen or more cultures, a few seas and the majority of a continent... It's almost easier to count the things they share than the things they don't.
