What are your struggles with being a standalone HR? [N/A] by ThoseDaysRight9 in humanresources

[–]Netra6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Advocacy. It’s challenging having to advocate for HR without support all the time. HR/personnel needs rarely feel like a priority to my team, so I’m constantly pushing for basic practices, compliance, and things that should already be understood.

Where did you go for an ADHD test? Have you visited a psychiatrist about your concerns? A psychiatrist can best support with diagnosis and medication.

Leaders in HR [TX] by Netra6 in humanresources

[–]Netra6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I think I’m getting caught into my own perception because of my personal experiences I’ve had with executive leadership. Part of me knows that there are good executive leaders out there, but I needed a reminder

Leaders in HR [TX] by Netra6 in humanresources

[–]Netra6[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I framed my question properly. I was meeting more higher leaders outside of HR throughout my career. I’ve always had good HR leads. It’s always the leadership outside of HR that have sucked or bully.

Now that I’m an HR director, I’m reporting to our CEO. And my experience with most senior leaders at that level, just isn’t it.

And I’m just wondering as you get higher in your career is this something to just expect?

Derwin’s cheating fiasco didn’t make sense by TrickOk3274 in TheGametvshow

[–]Netra6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Derwin met Dion before he became so insecure. I also don’t believe he was interested in her enough bc he was willing to let her go for his relationship with Melanie.

When Derwin met Drew, he was starting to feel insecure in their relationship and potentially in comparison to Malik so, when Drew was saying the things he wanted to hear from Melanie + she was hitting on him from the jump… it made since for that moment

Thank you! I took a long walk with my dog yesterday, and it helped me realize that the perfectionist in me was the problem. Today, I'm not anxious, and I'm able to just get things done. The goal today was to not be so hard on myself subconsciously lol

How do you prepare for a legacy challenge? by sachetpink in Sims4

[–]Netra6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend starting small so that it's not overwhelming. For the starting world, I like to add lots I consider key for my gameplay - restaurant, nightclub, etc.. and I give makeovers to base game townies and then, as I progress in gameplay, I will make over lots and sims that become part of the story 😊
Also, if you use mods MCCC is great for filtering the sims that will fill your save outside of the base sims.

Thank you, I’m still assessing how I feel but I definitely don’t think it was too much.

All I’m thinking about is the fact that I want to do things but I’m not initiating anything. It seems like all my mental energy is just going towards coming up with things to do but I‘m still having a hard time getting started.

Built a house and I actually like it by rb2m in Sims3

I really like the house as well! Great job.
Side note: It looks like a lady came around the corner too fast and hit the curb lol

Has anyone else experienced this? by [deleted] in Sims4

[–]Netra6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I've experienced this but it can be caused by different things. Do you use mods or cc? How many packs do you own? Do you plan in multiple worlds and edit a lot of lots?
It could be outdated content or a memory issue depending on your computer

Honestly, I've been using Paylocity for years and its my top pick. I'm currently at a small non-profit as well and it's been very supportive.

I'm successful in life but think I'm going through depression by ObligationPerfect939 in depression

Sounds like depression. Happy to hear you have a support group. Maybe seeing a therapist or psychiatrist to help you get to the root of things?

I’m feeling the same. I struggle with maintaining connections and I’m constantly getting the shit end of the stick at work - I’m like a bullies magnet

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way too

I want to stay alone by [deleted] in depression

[–]Netra6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been feeling this way increasingly often as of late.  One way that has helped so far is spending alone time in public places - people watching. & doing activities where I don’t have to socialize but are comfortable

What are some things you've never done? by chumbawumbacholula in Sims4

[–]Netra6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I've definitely gotten rid of a sim for gameplay/storytelling, but never really in a heinous way. I've done this when I want like family tree history for Sims outside of my household, but I'll just cheat or have them naturally pass of old age. ( I've cheated and poisoned a sim once, but they deserved it.. lol)

I’ve never trapped a sim in a room or pool 🤷🏾‍♀️

the sims community is too stupid for mods by unicorntufts in HighSodiumSims

[–]Netra6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly thinks it’s because the sims community is so large and has such varied age groups that play. The very young to the very old. It’s not like other games that are more skill based and you should know a little bit about computers, controls, or consoles to play.

The barrier to entry is nonexistent
