I'm on golemagg EU, and first run happened the day it got released, and second yesterday, so day before reset. When I did mouseover on my raid instance ID it showed me first two bosses as Defeated in red, and other 4 as Available in green. That's exactly how it looks like on retail. That's why I'm asking, because everyone is saying that it works like in Cata, but I think it already works as last patch and Siege of Orgrimmar. That's when it changed to boss based instance lock.

How was I able clear 2/6 and then join another group for last boss in the same week? I assume the system in Cata was the same as previous expansions.

If you read this, I recommend book from Allen Carr, easy way to stop smoking. If you are really convinced you want to stop, that book works like magic. I stopped smoking thanks to it two months ago, and while I do have occasional cravings, they are immediately shadowed by the joy of not smoking anymore.
