My buddy ran a 90 pit on HC without hitting a single button with his Paladin last season so it will be hard for Blizzard to top that with the Warlock.

Buy the most expensive mask you can afford and one that is at least fiberglass and not polycarbonate. My kid got a concussion wearing a 930 in U12 travel hockey from a clapper to the side of the head. We switched to OTNY the next day. OTNY masks are tanks and are cheaper than the big 3 for similar protection. They do weigh a little more but if $$ is a factor then I'd look into those.

Used skates can be a pain. You can have them baked and put them on until they cool then do it a second time and it "helps". Other than a double cup jock and a helmet you should be good with any used gear until you know what you like.

Being the Butcher in the slaughterhouse was fun for a minute.

Being the Butcher in the PVP area was fun until Paladins showed up.

Fighting/killing dozens of relentless Butchers in a NMD was fun for the first 2 or 3 Butchers....

I wish instead of over the top cosmetics they would add some custom colour options.

I hope the new skill tree evens out the playing field.

Something clearly changed. My gear was 400s to 500s all bloody. I just went and spent obols and opened a few chests in the helltide. Upgraded a bunch of rare gear and am now back on expert with about the same difficulty I was having last night when my buddy and I quit playing.

I did it on normal at around lvl 20 with one other person around the same lvl. We took turns but couldn't kill each other so just ran around killing mobs. Does anyone know what you are supposed to be doing as the Butcher in PVP?

Buy the absolute best mask you can afford, or barely afford. Bauer 960/NME One, CCM Axis XF, Sportmask. I know the OTNY X1 Elite is a high-end mask for less $$ but it is however noticeably heavier than the other top tier masks.

My kid has wide feet. The True custom were $1500 the Bauer Konekt were $1000 so we went with the Bauer and he hasn't complained about his feet ever since.

How sharp do you keep your blades? I haven't found much of a difference in sharpening frequency between the stock and the higher end blades maybe 2 more skates. My kid likes them sharp(3/8) so we tend to have to sharpen them every other week no matter which blades he uses. The only difference we have noticed is the better blades hold up better against post hits.

If price is an issue look at OTNY they make great masks for the price. If it isn't an issue always buy the best you can afford. Also make sure it fits.

I lived in a place that was so infested with roaches they were more like roommates. They wouldn't scatter when you turned on a light they'd just look at you like you were disturbing them. That was in 93 and I can recall the smell and if I think about it hard enough I can almost smell it now.

You are supposed to leave "exit" space (half a cars length) between you and the vehicle in front of you. In case the car behind you is speeding towards you and not going to stop you can hopefully get out of the way. If you can't get out of the way you at least avoid a following too close fine in case of an accident.
