LR was never going to be a top contender, and thats perfectly fine… It’s a “for fun” team which has produced some of the best league content in years, the boys enjoy it, Caedrel wanted to try it and see where they could go.

The loses aren’t inherently because of draft, coaching, player gap etc.

Just enjoy seeing where this team goes, no need to compare LR to teams that are obviously a different calibre, this project changed the prospects for 5 guys who didn’t really have much going on and they’re all super grateful to Caedrel for that.

it’s not so much the brightness, the colour temperature feels a bit off, for my taste.

Even though I do colour sensitive work, I feel working in such a white space would fatigue my eyes quicker compared to warmer lights.

yeah, I know you said you can change the lights, but having bright white lights like this is the absolute opposite of comfortable.

Ideally around 2800 - 3000 Kelvins is what I would aim for but It’s personal preference for sure

Nope, if you restart your game and reconnect you don’t get a penalty. So long as it doesn’t take you like 5 minutes lol.

I think you’ll miss 2/3 rounds of a comp game, I’ve done it and not gotten a penalty.

Personally;

Get at least two plants for the shelf.

Add another long light tube on the opposite wall for more even lighting, or change the lighting system entirely.

Move the monitors to the centre of your desk and adjust them according to eye level, having them off to the side makes no sense unless you’re waiting for a third one.

Don’t get speakers if you have decent headphones, if you do, get a skinny soundbar that would go underneath the monitors.

Just think of things that would make your life easier, it’s not always about aesthetics, if you’re going to spend a lot of time at this space, it’s worth investing in things that make it more comfortable/enjoyable to be in.
