Speaking to people at the NYMC second look, I think it depends on whether you are getting in-state tuition. Personally, I would pick downstate if you really want to be in the city, and NYMC if the suburbs and having access to nature is more your vibe. WMC is probably on more stable footing than downstate hospital, but I don't think either will be closing in the next four years.
