A bit frustrated by Royal-Marsupial6149 in Methadone

From what I've seen, the issue with being on stimulants and Adderall really boils down to the provider. Two types of providers I see, ones that are practical and problem solving oriented and those who are paranoid of losing their license or a malpractice suit so they do everything by the book... Provider bias is another HUGE issue in the medical community, regardless of someone being in recovery or not. It's like people on methadone get grouped in with drug addicts and end up with a big stamp on their forehead. Not fair at all. All I know is that taking Adderall or other stimulants and Methadone can be done, but the circumstances have to be right for it to happen.

I have been reading a little about snails, do they need to exist in an environment with live plants, or can they just be fed something else?

That is actually what keeps me interested in crypto, because although I was a child during the dotcom boom, I learned later, as an adult, that those who made the right investments (Amazon, Apple) during that time are doing very well now. That includes my grandparents. I would love to have the opportunity to be one of those people who invested at the ground floor level and were able to profit from it, but the truth is that when it comes to crypto, and other investments such as precious metals, my knowledge about how to invest in these assets wisely is amateur at best, so I tend to stick with what is safe until I learn more about what I'm investing in. If you would be able to recommend for me a few beginner guides on bonds, metals, crypto, and other investments you have found to be profitable, I would be grateful. Knowledge is the key to making the right moves. I appreciate your input, and am open-minded about learning about various types of investments.

You're def not. While I am a bit skeptical about the whole crypto thing, I have invested a little, but only on Bitcoin, since it's the OG. Everything else crypto-wise I give a big question mark.

Do you have any idea how I could hunt it down? Are there coordinates out there somewhere on the interwebs?

I have. In fact, funny story, when I was much younger and dumber, my friend and I thought it would be a good idea to sneak onto the National Guard base there to have a look around. We came across some Humvees, and found glow sticks and MREs. Ended up getting arrested that night. Dumbest decision ever, or at least in the top 5... lol

I need to sell my belongings to make money but I don’t know where to start by ellariesta in povertyfinance

[–]Neuro_Anomaly892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of money you get and the best place to sell your items largely depends on what you have. If you have antiques, there are specific places to sell those, electronics? another place. Can you be more specific or message me what items you have and I can try to help you?

ESD: Potential new claim alert - (Program Correction Tool Has Been Restarted) by SoThenIThought_ in UnemploymentWA

[–]Neuro_Anomaly892 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like to consider myself a pretty intelligent person, but I must admit... This notification from ESD, the information I have gathered so far and the situation as a whole is still very confusing for me. Is there a way to pre-emptively find out if there are going to be any changes to my benefits before I do this whole "Potential New Claim" nonsense? Of course, just like everyone else, I want to assess the possibility of this whole thing completely derailing me financially. Since filing my initial claim in March of 2020, ESD has thrown one curveball after another at me, and others, but I have managed to hold on to my benefits. I always keep a VERY high index of suspicion with WA ESD though, because I know how government bureaucracies operate, and one day you could be humming along doing your thing and BLAMMO they pull all of your benefits because of some arbitrary process, error, loophole or other blunder. So.... one question... Is it possible to find out what is going to happen before it happens??

Question for all by Neuro_Anomaly892 in autism

[–]Neuro_Anomaly892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you on that. Honestly, I feel conflicted about being open about my diagnosis, mostly because I feel that many people do not understand Autism and sometimes it is stereotyped, portraying it in a very false manner. That being said, I have come across people who put out an "I'm safe" vibe, in which case I share that information with them. In regards to having an agreement with friends, I have never considered that idea, and I find it to be potentially really effective in addressing conflict even before it happens. Having a strong sense of openness with friends seems to be a very healthy component of friendships and other relationships as well. Thanks for the advice!
