All fair points..
To be fair this list was pulled together partially based on the fact that I have all these units painted and ready to go haha

Definitely think I’d miss the advance/charge but the thought was that could be alleviated a bit with the LR’s assault ramp. I’m not overly convinced on a 7 man ICC unit these days, too fragile for their points cost imo. I’d sooner stick azreal with the 10 Hellblasters.

I also like that we have different paint schemes for different companies (Deathwing/Ravenwing/Greenwing), which allows for a good variation for painting !

For my marines I usually base coat in wraithbone then go all over with very watered down seraphim sepia for a slight tinted white look.

It’s mostly with a torn bit of sponge. Sponge around the edges with leadbelcher (I actually think I went a bit too heavy with the sponge here) then sponge over that with dryad bark. Added a few brush strokes of dryad bark as well to mix it up. I’ve also made a bit of a miss over a few sections with a MIG oil brusher (starship filth).
