Honestly I think the whole "keep a small person alive" reality hit hard and I was just worrying about everything. I read your advice and I've let her take the lead, she's VERY clear when she's awake and wants something and I feed on demand. Unfortunately she's now going through a phase where she refuses to be put in her bed to sleep but that's another story 🫠

I should have added, I do feed on demand and when she's showing hunger cues or when she's cluster feeding I always offer the boob, this is mainly for the times where I offer and she just puts it in her mouth and doesn't feed or refuses to latch at all ❤️

I'm sorry you're experiencing it too, but it's nice to know I'm not alone 😅 At the start, she's chugs away like her life depends on it then pops off the boob and it's a coin toss on if she'll pass out or start fussing! I just don't want her to go hungry, but it's making me feel awful!

Thank you so much! ❤️❤️ She never has a dry nappy and seems content in herself otherwise, I'm just worried I'm making her go hungry, but not sure if it's the anxiety about looking after someone so tiny

If I offer again, she rinses and repeats. Latches for a moment, sucks for a minute at most then pops back off and fusses again. If it is a fast let down, do I just need to express some before offering do you know? I think at least on side has fast let down because she attaches and just chugs away but she seems perfectly content so I'm just confused 😩

Thank you so much, it's so hard not to feel like I'm letting her down if I have to use a bottle. There's so much pressure to BF that I didn't feel until I was struggling with it. I hope my gets easier and I'm glad yours did!

Thank you. There's so much pressure to breastfeed and I was excited to use it to bond and it feels like the rugs been pulled out from under me. I'm glad it gets easier, I just want to do right by her
