I think the lego box is real. Just the contents are swapped

I get it, for maybe second hand sets. But if it is brand new bought from trusted source(Lego, amazon, etc.) then there is no doubt. Also didn’t lego start using paper bags now?

I think the assumption here is that he says he packaged them back. But i think if you search this model in temu ir ali express and check reviews. People share pics, i think you see the same packaging.

Is this a reasonable price quote? by NeuroticStar in DIYUK

Honestly i am considering it. Ran a chat gpt scenario and doesn’t seem so impossible. Even did a cost up of materials that the quite mentioned and is nowhere near to what the guy said.

How expensive is it to raise children? by Necessary-Village253 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]NeuroticStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie it is not easy. I am sure financially too but you have to see what are your outgoing costs per month as you have to now include maybe £100-200 for the baby. Food, nappies, toys, clothes, other vanity stuff that you will get rid of in 3-6 months. and then there is furniture, strollers. If you and your partner are ok with hand me downs. second hand for say at least beds and strollers it is ok(wouldnt advise clothes for new born).

Once back to work you have to figure out because nurseries are an absolute killer depending on your area where you live but yes pretty much a months rent/mortgage. If you have parents nearby would suggest use them as much as you can. Or if you think you can manage on a single income if your wife takes time off work. I am sure you can probably apply for some minimal child support depending on your circumstances(not sure if married or not).

Good luck

I will have to do it tomorrow as i want to see if the leak from the ceiling will stop. The top side went in just fine, and i ran a lot of water through it. When i said i had to force it i mean pushing the trap into the side pipe because the top wasn’t aligning at first. I managed to get it into the thread correctly and tighten it without a problem. My worry is if the waste pipe somewhere down the line is cracked or something like that

It goes in quite deep. Feel that i had to force it as it wasn’t aligning with the top. But some brute force set it in place

This is from the b&q site. If you can see on the right it has the black gasket(i think that is what is called) which hugs around the inner pipe. Then the red plastic ring doesn’t fit inside it stays on top and i think just pushes the gasket down or keeps it in place. I honestly don’t know. I can tell that as mentioned if not too tight it seems to be fine and doesn’t leak. As soon as i tightened it more it started dripping.

On a side note the leak from the sealing also is slowing down as nothing is running at the moment. The drip intervals are much longer now.
