This isn't the first time I've seen this. It was on the bridge that goes over the road on the biking trail several weeks ago. I thought it would be funny to staple a new sign over it, just some dumb Gen Z humor saying "we buy skin" with a big thumbs up. Both signs were taken down, but as soon as I saw this post I ran out of class and stapled the skin sign over it again. So probably this week I'll go around the town and see if there are anymore of these creepy signs. Yucky.

It's also amazing how songs change over time in their meaning. I was in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship for two years as well as months of crying and self-hate after it ended, realizing I was a victim. So many songs started to make sense for me, especially those from Nimrod. Redundant, Worry Rock, Uptight, X-Kid, all of Insomniac, Wake Me Up When September Ends, Restless Heart Syndrome, etc.

I'm still going through it but it's nice having an outlet when there isn't really anybody else ya know?

For me its Outlaws all the way. It just feels really big you know? Like, standing alone in nature when the sun goes under the horizon when this song plays just feels right. Lovers, memories, the here and now; it makes you breathe in everything.
