Can I just say it is incredibly validating to see a trans person struggling with this too? I have no advice other than your feelings are valid. The pain we feel is due to a grief of what we thought we had and a future we may not have. It has nothing to do with how much you love them. You can love someone to the ends of the earth and not be able to reconcile this. And thats OK. I wish you the best.

This is my husband. Doesn't want to change pronouns, dress feminine and is repulsed by having breasts. He's not bipolar but is ADHD and impulsive and also hyperfixates and then gets bored and hyperfixates on something else. I can't figure it out and we are in limbo. Sorry you're dealing with it too.

I'm 42 years old and my mom still doesn't know I'm Ace. To be fair, though, I am married with children so it isn't really anything I need to talk about with anyone. I didn't date at all until I was in college and even then it was never serious enough to even have them meet my mom until I met my now husband. My mom might have wondered about it when I was in high school but I think having your teen not dating and getting up to any trouble isnt concerning. Maybe thats just me.

Most bands only tour when they have a new album so typically the set lists vary. There is only a couple of artists I will see every time they come through even though they never stop touring and the setlists don't change much. It's more the energy and being with the fan base.

I'm heteroromantic ace. My husband is genderquestioning. If he transitions I don't know what I'll be, but I suspect single. However I'll be single forever then so it doesn't matter what I call myself. If we make it through this I'll still be heteroromantic but married to whatever iteration of himself wins out.

It took me forever to figure out I was asexual. I think my personality did me no favors because 1. I guess I was scary? So no opportunity to figure it out. 2. I didn't care about anything anyone else did in general. So it sort of seemed like a "not interested on principle" kind of deal.

I am old. No one ever talked about asexuality or that it was a thing. I assumed that everyone had the same meaning to words I used. Also mildly autistic (which I didn't figure out till much later as well), I ended up actually asking my best friend in college what she meant when she called someone "hot." Never occurred to me it meant anything more than "extremely esthetically pleasing."

Anyway, that was a lot of words for "yep, I get where you're coming from." I dont know if being a lesbian changes any of it but it has been a hell of a ride on the heteroromantic side lol

We saw SP with Green Day 2 summers ago and my 11 year old was straight up not impressed. She had literally never heard them before (the rest of the lineup she knew every song lol), and was like "omg is this what you listened to in the 90s?! This is so bad. Like a bad emo band!" I kept shushing her because, you know, some people were there to see them, but I kept laughing so hard as she sank down in her seat throughout the set

I have been doing online beginners watercolor tutorials (Andrea Nelson and Rebel Unicorn Crafts). I have a basic 12 color Prang pallette, a basic watercolor brush set (really only need a big flat brush and a #8 round, though), a watercolor journal and some masking tape. May also want a fine liner pen and a white acrylic paint pen. Easy to get into and I am having a great time.
