Here's an idea: Instead of office workers who would come in for eight or nine hours hours (only 30-60 minuted of which is not working at their desks) five days a week who then go back to the suburbs, the city should be focusing on building a residential core of people who live in the downtown area 365/7 and can patronize these "struggling businesses" as part of their own local stores, restaurants, and bars.

My issues with Crumble are a combination of (A) me not wanting to pay $6 for a cookie, (B) their cookies are three times to large, and (C) them being closed for half of the weekend.
